March 12th, 2027.
The guard opened the door, he swung it so hard I felt a breeze on my face. Still chained to the floor I stood on my knees and looked up at them, squinting as the bright light shined in my face.
"Good morning." He said brightly, "we brought you a friend to keep you company." He laughed as two more guards dragged in someone else.
"Here you go." They threw the body onto the floor in front of me. I tried to move closer but, my chains kept me from getting any closer.
"N-no." I muttered, "why?" My eyes began to water. The body in front of me began to groan and roll over. By the sound of their voice it was a boy.
"H-hey, are you okay?" Please be alive. He rolled over and faced me and my whole world fell apart.
"Fang?" His side was bleeding out and his life levels were low, to the point he and I both knew he didn't have long.
"Captain Celty? You're still alive?" Fang was my second in command when I was the leader of the Red Riders, but he was the first to leave when I disbanded the guild.
"Wha-wh-" he coughed and gasped while holding his side. I tried to get closer, but my chains kept me nine inches away. Nine inches from helping him.
"Shhh, don't talk okay. Its gonna be okay." His life levels fell even lower. Please don't, not again.
"You-gotta....get.....out...." He gasped.
"Don't talk " I cried. Its happening again. Don't go.
I looked up at the guards.
"Help him! Please, he's gonna die!" They laughed.
No, please.
"Fang," I whimpered, "hold on okay, please." Once again, there was nothing I could do.
"Captain..." I looked at Fang as his brown eyes met mine.
No, don't.
"I'm sorry.....I'm so......sorry."
No, hold on please.
"I am honored..... It was ....an honor..to be your second in....." Fang turned his head towards the ceiling and the color of his eyes left him.
"F-Fang? Fang? Fang!? Fang!? Fang!!" I started bawling like crazy. The tears wouldn't stop, or the screaming.
Not again, its happening all over again.
"The King wants an answer soon princess. You best be quick on that answer."
