"I said I was sorry." I told Ashton, "I promise I won't lie like that ever again." We walked into the hospital courtyard and sat down on a bench.
"You promise?" She asked me.
"Yes, with all my heart I swear I won't do it again."
"Alright." She sighed, "Don't ever do it again."
"I won't." I smiled and put my arm around her.
I had just gotten out the hospital two days before, actually everyone who was in the game got out of the hospital or was just getting out, however, they're keeping us around the place to make sure we were okay. When the game was over I woke up and found myself in the hospital again. Every player woke up as soon as the game shut down. Doctors were so confused, but in all honesty the whole situation was hard to explain.
"Get a room." We heard behind us, "Gosh, you guys will make out anywhere."
"Don't judge us." I told Sierra as she was laughing.
"How you feeling?" Ashton asked.
"Fine and much better now." Sierra said.
"How's everyone else?" I asked.
"Ross is still Ross, Lucas is upstairs eating, and Travis is over there with his brother." She pointed across the courtyard and there was Travis (Trace) pushing his brother Louis (Lucifer) along.
"Louis is still-"
"Yea, no response."
When I woke up I was surprised to find that Travis and Louis were still alive, but I figured because it was Travis who figured out who the final boss was he technically won the game and his brother lost a lot. Louis woke up, but the game gear took its toll and it affected him badly. He was now unresponsive completely. He no longer talks, feels or says anything. He's basically in a walking coma.
Even though it was Louis who programmed the game to lock itself up and used it as a tool for mass murder, Mr. Lonarc took all the blame to prevent his son's from going to jail, but Travis goes up and visits with Louis from time to time.
"You alright?" I asked Sierra. I caught her intensely staring the Lonarc brothers down.
"Yea I'm fine. I just admire Travis."
"For what?"
"His brother killed over two thousand plus people, his dad's in jail and he doesn't seem to have one bit of hate in him."
I looked back and watched as Travis pushed his brother's wheel chair along.
"I know Trace is a crazy son of a bitch, but he and I have a lot in common."
"How?" Ashton and Sierra asked.
"We care about our families " I smiled.
