May 9th, 2029.
"Fancy meeting you here."
I felt someone nudge my side. I turned around only to find Andy (Sterling) standing behind me.
"I could say the same for you." I told him. He laughed.
"You know, your shorter in the real world." I punched his arm.
"Ow, it's adorable." He laughed rubbing his arm. I shook my head and just brushed it off.
"So what are you up to? Why are you walking around the courtyard by yourself?"
"Well I was with Ethan just a second ago. I was headed back in."
"Oh." He said. I stared at Andy for a moment and just started pointing out his features in my mind. I was still getting used to his normal face. His avatar was almost an opposite of himself. He no longer had his long white hair or pointed ears or blue eyes, instead he had his natural jet black locks, small ears and green eyes.
"What?" He asked me.
"You look better without the pointy ears." I smiled.
"Oh really?"
"Yeah, really."
Andy shook his head laughing, then we stood there for a moment and just looked at each other for a moment. He got closer to me and started running his hand through my hair.
"You cut it?" He asked me, he was close enough I could hear his heart beat.
"Yeah, chopped it all off yesterday."
"I like this hairstyle on you. Looks good."
"Thank you." I told him.
"You know what's great about the real world?" He randomly said.
"What?"
"There were so many times I thought I lost you in the other one." He said.
"Well you won't lose me in this one either. Ever." I told him. With his one hand still in my hair I felt his other one hold mine.
"You are so stubborn." He chuckled.
"Yea I know." I smiled.
"Come on already!" We jumped as someone was yelling at us. I turned my head and found Lucas, Ethan and Travis standing by a tree about thirty feet away from us.
"What the are you doing you idiot?" Travis shouted.
"Kiss her already!"
Both of us started awkwardly laughing and began walking away.
"Those are my friends alright." I said.
"Yep." Andy followed behind me as I made my way around the courtyard. I made it about halfway around the corner before I felt Andy grab my arm.
"Hey." He turned me around and kissed me hard on the mouth. I wrapped my arms around his neck as his made their way around my waist picking me up off the ground.
"Yeah!!" We released ourselves as we heard cheering from behind us. Once again the boys were there, but with a couple of nurses and doctors behind them just clapping and cheering us on.
"Wanna get a bite to eat?" I asked.
"Yea. Take out?"
