After a week long break, we're back at hell. Every single class I had was the same scenario, the teacher would ask, "How's your break?" And we would answer, "Good." In monotone.
"First day back and guess what?" Natalie asked, walking beside me going to the cafeteria. "What?" I asked, looking at the stack of books she has on her arm. "Quiz! Math Quiz!" She exclaimed, putting her books on our usual table. "Screw Math," I said, taking a drink of my water. "Screw Math? More like screw your dad." She said. I looked at her flipping through book pages and reading notes. "Yeah, you're right, screw my dad." I agreed and ate my food.
We walked in to class five minutes late, I can't blame Natalie, she has a lot of books with her and her locker is like a block away from Mr. Tucker's room.
"Late slip?" Mr. Tucker asked as we entered the room. "Give us detention." I said, rolling my eyes at him and went to the vacant sit at the back of the class. "Have you seen Bethany?" Michael asked me. "No." I said, taking my journal out and started scribbling nonsense stuff. "Do you know where she is?" Michael asked me again. "No." I answered him, again. I started scribbling again, paying no attention to anyone. "If you see Bethany, can you tell her to call me?" Michael asked again. "No." I answered, trying not to lose my patience. "Please?" Michael asked and grabbed my pen. "I said no, is that difficult for you to understand? N-O. NO!" I exclaimed and grabbed my pen from him. Mr. Tucker looked at me with disappointment. Why would I care? "I think it's that time of the month where she gets her-" Alyssa, a girl who's in the cheerleading with me said. "Shut up. Did your mama even taught you not to eavesdrop?" I asked her, crossing my arms. I hated her since kindergarten. She think she's so popular and pretty, but all she does is flirt her way out. "You b*tch." She hissed at me before attacking me and started pulling my hair. I pulled her hair and she started pushing me, I fell and my face hit the edge of the chair. "BOTH OF YOU, OUT!" Mr. Tucker shouted and we immediately went out.
"What were you thinking girls?" Our guidance councilor asked both of us.
"She called me a b*tch." I said, looking at Alyssa who's in front of me.
"That doesn't mean you can just have big scene in the middle of class." The guidance councilor said.
"She attacked me first. I'm the innocent one here." I said, raising my voice. The guidance councilor looked at Alyssa who was playing with her bracelets, enjoying our conversation with the guidance councilor.
"She made fun of my dead mother!" Alyssa exclaimed. I didn't know. "I'm sorry, I didn't know." I apologized, feeling guilty of what I've done.
"You may go." The guidance councilor said, looking at me and Alyssa.

I tapped my toes against the pavement, waiting for Brent and Natalie who's in extra curricular activities. "Hey there," Brent said, taking my hand and gently pressed his lips. "Gentleman, huh?" I asked, my brows furrowed. "Only for you," He said mockingly. "Have you seen Natalie?" I asked, breaking the mocking game. "She went home with your brother." Brent said, walking to his car."So, how's your day?" Brent, asked while driving.
"Good," I said. "Not really," I added, taking my phone out of my bag and checked the time.
"Why is that?" Brent asked, looking at me. "Because I was in hell and I just conquered Satan." I said.
"Hell? I never knew there's angel in hell."
