The thing about parties is that food isn't planned either.
"Pizza or Sushi?" Nathan asked as we are all sitted in the living room. "Sushi!" I blurted out with half of the group, or maybe a quarter.
"Since no one here agrees on one meal, lets just drive to McDonalds," Bethany suggested out of the blue. Nathan's friends started nodding their heads and so did I in agreement.
The group was squished in one pick up truck which Nathan drove. The drive going to McDonald's wasn't a typical drive but it was a drive consists of loud musics, ditching the red stop light, and screaming in the middle of the night. Apparently, no police or any guards noticed us which is a good thing cause I might also be stucked in a single jail cell with six other people in this truck.
"Good evening," Greeted the person behind the counter. "Hi, um seven big mac chicken and that's meal. Drinks would be Cola and the size is large." I said, ordering our food.
The advantage of eating at McDonalds at 10 in the evening is 1) there are no people and there's no need of searching for vacant seats and 2) no one would really care if a group of teenagers trash the place.
"Okay," James, one of my brother's friend mumbled. "Let's play a game," He said.
"What game?" Natalie asked without any hesitation.
"I don't really know how to name the game," James said laughing. "But here's what we need to do, we decide who's the most hated person in school and we also decide what consequences should that person get." James said explaining his game.
"Deal," I said, nodding my head and looked at the rest of the group. They nodded their heads too and agreed on playing the game.
"What about Caroline?" Bethany suggested, arching her brow.
"Ew, she's not really hated. She's just a school slut," Nathan said in disgust.
"You're defending her?" Natalie asked, anger raging. Natalie and Caroline never had peace since fifth grade after Caroline pushed her off the stage at a school play which Natalie was known for, The Girl Who Fell of the Stage, until now.
"The thing is, Nathan hooked up with Caroline. That's why he's defending her." James said. Natalie's face turned into a frown quickly just right after James said that.
"Seems like someone's jealous," Brent said, smirking at Nathan who's already shuffling towards Natalie.
"Okay lets get back to the game," Bethany said, eating her fries. "Are teachers included in this game?" Bethany asked. Good question.
"Yup, I guess so," Matt, said. Matt is one of Brent's friend who's also my friend.
"Mr Tucker," I said, consuming my Cola and eating the ice cubes that are left.
"Mr Tucker!" Everyone else shouted in agreement.
"And off we go to Mr Tucker's crib!" James shouted, raising his cup and off we go.
I was the last one who went out McDonalds with Brent on my left side and Nathan on my right side. I sat at the back of the truck with Brent and Nathan and the rest were inside fighting about wether to play Drake songs or Kanye's.
"What are you looking at?" I hissed and Nathan who was looking at me since we sat here.
"You know dad wouldn't be happy with you, right?" He asked, shaking his head in dismayal.
"I don't really care," I said rolling my eyes and stole Brent's water. "Whatever." Nathan said. I know Nathan hated dad too as much as I hated him or even more. Nathan was hurt too when dad left and never came back.
"What shall we do?" Matt asked, tossing the car keys high up in the air and catching it back.
"That's April's car," Brent said pointing at a brand new Toyota Corolla.
"Dude, who's April?" James asked, confused with almost everything. "April is a nineteen soon to be twenty years old girl who goes to college." Nathan explained.
Since when did Nathan and Brent knew all about this? I thought I was the only one who knew?
"I thougt she was eighteen?" Natalie asked, looking at me as if I had the answers. "I though so too," I said and rolled my eyes.
"What should we do to her?" Matt asked, still tossing the car keys high up in the air. "You'll know later," Nathan said.
After fifteen minutes on suggesting plans on what consequences we should do, we finally had it planned.
"Door keys is under that pot," I said poiting at the flower pot beside the entrance door. "Cctv camera's are all over the perimeter. To turn it off, there's a cabinet in his room that has the footages and the password is his son's birthday," I said looking at Nathan cause he was assigned to do this task.
"My birthday?" He asked. "Unfortunatley no," Natalie said. "Your other brother's birthday." Natalie added.
"Klent," Brent mumbled and sighed.
Klent is our younger brother. He should be ten by now but we lost him when he was five because of lukemia. My dad loved him so much and maybe, that's also why he left us. Maybe Klent was the only one who can let him stayed but he's no longer here.
"How do you all know this stuff?" James asked, furrowing his brows in confusion. "She used to sneak in with me," Natalie said proudly, as if it'd make her a better person.
"Okay, lets do this," I said.
Natalie and Bethany was in charge on taking a raw fish in my fathers fridge and dumping it inside his closet. James and Matt's job was taking Caroline's clothes and hanging it on the balcony where people would see at day time. Brent and Nathan's job is taking the cctv tape after all of us are finished for remembrance of this night. And my job is cutting my dad's work clothes.
*
"Got it?" I asked Nathan and Brent who are laughing whilst explaining what they saw while they were waatching the cctv clips. "Yup," They both said, still laughing.
"What time is it?" Bethany asked, worried. "Time to have more fun!" Matt said, turning the music's volume higher.
We drank red bull and watched Hang Over at the living room as we got home. Apparantley, all of us slept horrifically in the living room.
My mom was such a cool mom that she took a picture of us sleeping and gave each one of us a copy. I was on the floor, my head laying at Nathan's feet. Natalie was beside Nathan and Brent's head was on my foot. Bethany was beside me, Matt and James was hugging each other sleeping. Bromance.
