Chapter 17-Perfect!

Two months had passed since the lads found out about Nathan and I's relationship, they told the girls and they were happy for us. So, Mum was the last one who needed to find out. As things between me and Nathan were getting stronger, I thought that it was time that we told my Mum. I was laid in bed with Nath with my head on his chest, him running his fingers down my back..it was quite relaxing. I could hear his heart beating and his chest going up and down each time he took a breath. 
'What you thinking about?' I asked him.
'Thinking I don't wanna get out of bed,' he smiled. I giggled,
'It is a comfy bed, not gonna lie,'.
'And you wonder why I never get out of it,' he winked. I kissed him on the lips.
'I think we should tell Mum,' I blurted out. He moved his head and looked at me,
'When you thinking?' he asked.
'Maybe..at the weekend,' I suggested.
'I'm happy if you are babe,' he smiled.
'You can come round for tea or something,' I replied.
'That sounds lovely babe,' he kissed my head.
'I'll get it sorted,' I yawned. He nodded his head,
'I'd better get to work Princess,' he sighed.
'It's my day off...I'll speak to Mum to arrange things,' I answered.
'Just let me know what happens,' he smiled before getting out of bed. I watched him get changed, I couldn't believe that I had bagged this sex god as my boyfriend.

He had changed me in so many ways. I didn't go out as much as I used to, I changed the way I dressed, I covered up more than I used to..that was when I used to love the boys attention...I didn't need that anymore..not now I had Nathan. I had more friends than I ever had before, obviously Holly will always be my best friend..no matter what. He made me feel loved and cared about...thats something I had never felt before. He leaned over me and kissed me on the lips.
'I'll see you tonight baby,' he whispered.
'Love you,' I smiled.
'Love you too Princess,' he said before leaving the room. I stayed in his bed a little bit longer, I was too comfy to get out. But eventually I did, I got changed into the clothes I brought with me last night, it was just, my TOPSHOP knitted ribbed crop jumper, my super skinny jeans and my white sneakers. I left my hair how it was and put my glasses on. I grabbed my bag and car keys before leaving the lads flat to go home. Once I had got home, I found Mum in the living room.
'Hello Darling,' she greeted me.
'Hey Mum,' I smiled. 
'You Ok?' she asked.
'Yes, very good thank you. Can I ask you something?' I answered to her question.
'Ask away,' she smiled.
'Well...I was wondering if the guy i've been seeing could come round for dinner?' I questioned. Her eyes widened.
'You've got a boyfriend?'
'Yeah,' I replied.
'Since when?'
'About 4 months,' I said.
'I suppose he can,'
'Is Friday OK with you?' I asked her.
'Yes love,' she smiled.
'Thank you,' I replied.

After finishing my conversation with Mum, I got my phone out and text Nath,

To Nath,

              Come to mine on Friday at about 7 xxx

It didn't take Nathan long to reply, 

From Nathan,

                      OK baby. Will ring you in a bit, just got an interview..I love you xxxx.

This made me smile but didn't reply to the text.

*Friday Night*

I was feeling so nervous, I was really worried about how Mum was going to react to the news that I was going to be telling her tonight. Nath had told me not to worry as everything is going to be OK. I was up in my bedroom getting into my outfit for the dinner. I didn't want to wear anything that made me look desperate or that I am trying too hard. I picked out my textured criss cross back tank dress with a belt going around the waist. Once I put that on, I put my shoes on, I went for my, brown sandals. I didn't wanna put heels on, as I fancied a change. I put some mascara on and some eyeliner, before putting my earrings in. My hair was wavy slightly and clipped some back. Once I was ready I went downstairs to wait for Nathan to knock on the door. About 20 minutes later, he had arrived. I got up to go and answer the door. I answered it and let him in. I kissed my cheek which made me smile. 

I grabbed his hand and walked to where Mum was.
'Mum, I'd like you to meet my boyfriend,' I said in a shakily tone as my nerves were getting the better of me. Mum put her paper down and looked up and saw Nathan stood there.
'Nathan?' 
'That's me,' Nath replied.
'You two have been dating?' she asked stating the obvious, I nodded my head.
'Yes Mum we have,'
'Why didn't you tell me? You've kept this from me for 4 months?' she ranted.
'We were looking for the right time,' I answered.
'Jayne...I love your daughter so much..I'm going to look after her...I promise,' Nathan added to the conversation.
'I just wish you would of told me sooner,' she sighed.
'Well you know now,' I replied.
'I suppose it's not so bad..as long as you look after my little girl,' Mum warned Nathan.
'Oh I will do,' Nathan answered.
'You'd better,'
'So you don't mind us being together?' I asked her for reassurance.
'Of course I don't,' she smiled. I was so happy, I thought this was going to turn out much worse than that. Nathan squeezed my hand gently.

We spent the evening chatting with Mum, it turned out to be a lovely evening. I was soon stood in the doorway saying goodbye to him.
'You know you can stay here?' I said to him.
'I know baby, but I got an early start tomorrow,' he replied.
'I'll let you off then,' I smiled. He then pulled me close to him,
'It feels so good now that everyone knows..a weight has been lifted off my shoulders,' he said to me before kissing me on the head.
'I've never felt happier,' I smiled.
'I love you Ivy Collins,' he grinned before kissing me passionately on the lips.
'I love you too,'.

Everything was perfect..nothing could go wrong....or could it?
