"Peeta if you will come with us today." The head guard commands Peeta unlocking the bar. Peeta looks at me confused, so he doesn't know either. Likely Snow wants to use him for an interview.

"Don't we get food?" Johanna asks angered. The guard smiles at her gayly.

"None of you deserve it, so why give it to you?" He saunters off with his arm wrapped around Peeta's wrist happily. Once the guards have all lady to stand to watch outside the doors, she looks at me.

"Katniss. Aren't you. Are you pregnant?" Johanna whispers but the words make my hair stand on end sending chills down my spine.

Do I deny it? Snow likely has cameras in here, but he wouldn't believe me even if I told Johanna, he's to stubborn to believe anything I say. Johanna might seem horrendous, but I think she is like the rocks my dad used to show me. On the outside they looked really ugly, but on the inside there were all these sharp dagger-like crystals. And Johanna kind of reminds me of a sharp weapon. I scoot closer to the bars between Johanna's cell and mine.

"Yeah, probably seven months now." I whisper staring at my swollen stomach. With the Capitol's fancy pregnancy cover, I don't look like an average seven month pregnant girl, but it's still visible. Johanna doesn't look shocked.

"You're supposed to eat more, especially with that. This can't be benefiting the baby."

"No Johanna, it's the latest craze, if you are pregnant, it is supposed to be super benefiting to lock yourself up in jail and not eat very much," I add trying to sound super happy about it, she rolls her eyes angrily.

"Won't they figure it out?" She asks quietly as if scared someone will over hear us.

"Yes, eventually. They have to rescue us  in two months time though; they won't let us rot here." Johanna looks at the ground with her eyes raised.

"Maybe they will. They could easily say we died and use us as martyrs. Might be worth more to them that way." No. No. I won't even let myself consider it, because I know she is right. Thirteen wouldn't even have to waste a team in efforts to get us out. They would just say we died and not even attempt to rescue us. Finnick. There's on error to Johanna's plan.

Of course he would know we are all in the Capital, they have us battle for camera time occasionally when Beetee tries to override it. Finnick knows Peeta and I are alive here, so he must know that Annie was captured too. Then Finnick would not leave Annie would he? No, they wouldn't be able to lie and say we are dead! Finnick would go ramped! I might have hated him, but now I'm thankful for him.

They have to rescue us, thirteen has to be on their way. Wasn't I some leader of the rebellion? Isn't that what Bonnie and Twill said? They couldn't just leave me for dead. I can't think the other way, so they must not be able to. I have to keep hoping for a brighter day in the midst of the dark.

What are they having Peeta do? It has been maybe two hours. They wouldn't make him do a two hour interview. I don't think you can do a two hour interview with a single person. Before I even realize what I am doing, I'm pacing around my tiny cell. Old habits die hard.

"Stop it Katniss." Johanna commands rolling her eyes, annoyed with me. Sometimes she's okay. Sometimes I want to smack her. Stop Katniss. I don't need to think about smacking people.. I take a deep breath and try to calm down.

"I can't just sit still." I attempt to explain walking from the cell door to the wall. Where is he?

"Peeta will come back." From all the way in the beginning of the alphabet in cell organization, Annie tries to comfort me from her cell. She gives me a reassuring smile that I return. Finnick must be feeling the same thing I am all the time about Annie. I would lose my mind if I was him.
