This morning, Slim and Meechie came with me to buy the ring.
"I'll be back with your ring, sir." the man said at the counter.
"Thanks" I said.
I turned around and seen Meechie dancing.
"Nigga, you always dancing." I said.
He laughed. "I know."
"Okay, here's your ring." the man said handing it to me in the box. I swiped my credit card and left.
When we got in the car, I put it in the glove compartment.
"How you gonna give it to her?" Slim asked.
"I'm taking her for a walk and then-"
"A walk?!" Meechie said.
"Yeah, nigga! She's not a fucking dog!" Slim said.
"Okay, so what should I do?" I asked.
"You should take her to her favorite restaurant." Slim said.
"Yeah and get a jazz band to perform. Then, ask her." Meechie finished his sentence.
"Okay, I guess."
Destany POV
I was hanging with Danielle and Kali since Slim wanted to hang with his boys. We went to Delight Nails & Spa.

"So what's going on with you and Slim?" Danielle asked.
"Nothing." I said grinning.
"Well, he's better than Trey. I'm glad you left him."
"Not quite." I mumbled.
"What did you say?" Kali asked.
"Well, I haven't ended Trey and I's relationship."
"But you've been sleeping with Slim!" Danielle said.
"I know but-"
"No buts about it. You can't do that!" Kali said. "Matter of fact, you're gonna call Trey right now and break up with him officially." She handed me my phone.
I sighed and called him.
"Hello?"
"Trey, I need to tell you something."
"Destany, why you ain't been calling me?"
"That's what I need to talk to you about"
"What is it?"
"I'm breaking up with you."
"How you just not gonna talk to me for a week and then call and break up with me."
"Sorry not sorry?"
"Oh, we'll see who's sorry" he hung up.
"What did he say?" Kali asked.
"It doesn't matter. Let's just stop talking about boys for a minute."
"Yeah, because I don't have a boyfriend." Danielle said jokingly.
"Trust me. You don't want one." Kali said.
We all laughed as we got in the car.
Aaquil POV
When we got home, I rolled up 3 blunts. I gave them to Meech and Swae.
"We could've just passed." Meechie said.
"Nah, I want my whole one."
"I know, nigga"
"How am I supposed to hide the ring?" Swae asked us.
"Put it in my room. She won't find it in there." I said.
"Yeah and neither will I. Your room is a fucking wreck!"
I shrugged my shoulders and took another puff.
"Keep it in your jacket." Meechie said.
He put it in his jacket and went upstairs.
About 20 minutes later, Meechie and I were so high. I felt like a deluxe apartment in the sky.
I saw Destany, Kali, & Danielle walk through the door.
"Woah! There's goes my baby!" I said to Destany.
She smiled. "Babe, are you high?"
"If I say yes, will you kiss me?"
"Maybe"
"Well, I am very high." I said grabbing her waist. She kissed me and I kissed back.
"I thought Khalif was with you guys." Kali said.
"He's upstairs." Meechie said.
She went upstairs.
"Danielle." Meechie said.
"Meechie" she copied him.
"Come chill with me."
She scoffed, "As if."
"Damn, it's like that."
"It's been like that."
Kali POV
"What you doing?"
"Nothing, why?" Khalif said laying on the bed.
I laughed. "I was just asking."
"Oh, I see you got your nails done."
"Yeah." I said looking at them.
"Anyways, I have a surprise for you tomorrow." he said.
"What is it?" I said getting excited. I straddled him.
"I'm not telling you what it is. Just know that it's gonna be big." he said grabbing my waist.
