" why don't you watch our practice sometimes?"

That was Chase's words a week ago And now napagpasyahan kong sumilip muna sa practice ng baseball club to see what kind of Chase that everyone loves looks like.

"Kyaaaah!! Go Chase!!"

"Omg he hit the ball like its nothing!!"

"Homerun!!!!"

Yan ang sigaw ng halos lahat ng babae na nandito sa bench to watch their practice. Sa ingay at tilian ng mga nandito mapapaisip ka kung praktis lang ba to o compit na eh.

"Oops" the petite girl said nung nasiko nya ko pagkatapos nyang itili ang " make a homerun with me too!!" I just smudge my arms dahil sa lakas ng pagsiko nya.

Tinuon kong muli ang mga tingin ko sa mga nasa field , pawisan at medyo madumi na ang suot nilang uniform pero yun yata yung nagpapagwapo kay Chase.. the beaming sun under his head.. yung pawisan nyang buhok pati na din mukha..yung madumi at maalikabok nyang baseball uniform at ang matalas nyang mata na agad na nakakatama ng isang 74 kilometers per hour na bola ay ngayon ay naka..titig na sa direksyon ko?... wait is he looking at me?? Pinunasan nya ang pawis sa noo nya at saka ngumiti ng napakalapad bago tumakbo sa teammates nya.

"Gosh did Chase just smiled at me?!!" Kilig na sabe nung babaeng nakasiko saakin kanina, she's pretty and well.. I think thats all...sya pala yung ngitian ni Chase.

After few more runs and homeruns ay natapos nadin ang practice nila. I didn't know na malilibang ako sa panonood sa kanila, and that game definately looks like a tournament to me kahit na magkakateam naman talaga sila, and seeing how Chase manage the team being the Captain and the Ace is really awesome.

Mayamaya ay naisipan ko munang magpunta sa Cr nang Paalis na sana ako nung may sumitsit saakin mula sa hallways pagkalabas ko ng Cr.

"Who's there?" I asked pero empty hallway lang ang nakita ko, it gave me chills kaya agad akong nagmadaling maglakad, but I sense something..like someone is following me. Thats why I run and hid myself on the side of the vending machine so that I can swing my Bag on this suspicious person.

"ARAAAY!!" sigaw ng pamilyar na boses, oh my god?

"P-pasensya na! A-akala ko kase ..."

"What? Do I look like some perv ? a killer or a hunted person perhaps?" He laughed his ass off while caressing his nose. Natamaan ko ata ng matinde.

"E-eh kase! May pangsitsit ka pang nalalaman tapos magtatago ka?! " medyo inis kong sabe kaya agad na nagbago ang itsura nya.

"S-sorry na. Did I scare you?" He asked sincerely , I nodded slowly and that made him sigh. " sorry I just felt like teasing you..kase naman you always like to be alone. " he added.

"Im fine on my own though. Sanay na akong mag-isa. " sagot ko, he took out some coins. "Do you like orange or Strawberry juice?" Tanong nya habang namimili sa vending machine.

" Orange." I answered then he pushed the button of this orange juice drink and gave it to me, he pushed the strawberry flavored juice for himself. Then he sat on the staircase and ask me to sit with him.Does any of those beautiful girls thats shouting and screaming awhile ago knows that the manly and sporty Chase loves Straberry flavored juice? That made me smile for no reason..

Long silence has occured. Tanging tunog lang nung pagbukas namin ng in-can na juice yung nadinig ko at ang laman nito.

"Can I ask you something?" Bigla kong tanong sa kanya , he looked at me right away . " hmm? Ok." He answered.

"Why are you being friends with me?.." matagal ko nang gustong malaman to kahit na he already said that he just want to be close to me ay napapaisip ako..why?

He looked straight at the can his holding and played with it for awhile bago sya magsalita.

" I told you. Being friends with you is the first way.." he answered. First what?. "I want to know you thats why I want to be friends with you. I want to be friends with you coz I want to be close to you " He added.

"Why?.. there are more prettier girls than me who wants to be close to you.. like the girl you smiled at kanina sa prak--"

"What?!" Pagputol nya sa sinasabe ko.

" kanina diba? You smiled so brightly on this pretty petite girl on the bench kanina." Wait whats with this tone of me?!.

"G- who? I dont remember smiling at any girl kanina except--"

"Yung katabe ko kanina. She said that you smiled at her. Maybe she's your type? Is she the girl you're taking about? The one you like?" Sunod sunod kong tanong. That made his face look so offended?.

" can I ask you something?" Bigla nyang sabe pagkatapos ng napakalalim na buntong hininga.

"Sige what is it?" Tanong ko. He tossed the empty can of juice on the trash before arching his brows.

"Do I not look like the book that you love reading?" He asked. Napatulala ako. What does he mean by that?.

"If not. Can you just close that book and open a new book about me?. Im your friend. You should look at me often too! Then you might discover a very beautiful story." He answered then stood up.

"Then you might know who the Princess on my story really is."

"What?" I asked he just smiled. " lets go na mamaya dumating pa yung kinatatakutan mo kanina hahahaha" he said then waited for me as I walk beside him. He's always avoiding that topic. Whats with the girl he likes?.. is she pretty? Maybe she's quite the catch?. And Why does he want me to look at him often? To know his actions and behavior?. And whats with his Princess?. So many questions Sam just shush!

We walked quiet usual but then as we walk down the stairs the starts to whistle on a tune.

Pagkauwi ko ng bahay ay agad akong dumiretso sa kwarto ko, my mom suddenly just burst out a loud oldsong music.

" Oh, can't you see~ You belong to me How my poor heart aches with every step you take~"

Wait! I suddenly remembered something with this song...
