Aphmau

I was watching Anime with Katelyn when my phone started to ring. I glanced annoyedly at my phone resting on the arm rest of the couch. The caller I.D. says...Travis? He never calls me. He usually texts...how strange...
"Who is it?" Katelyn groaned.
I shot my head I. Her direction with a stupid stunned look on my face.
"Oh, um...its uh...work..." I lied. I didn't want her to get mad at me for picking Travis over our Netflix "date."
"Well, go on, answer it..." Katelyn said, pointing to my room.
I quickly answered.
"Hey...boss...what do ya need?" I said nonchalantly to Travis, who was probably confused as heck. I didn't want Katelyn getting suspicious.
"What?" He asked.
"Oh yeah, I can TOTALLY come in on Saturday!" I said as I jumped of the couch and made a beeline for my room. Once I was inside the door, I shit it and let out a sigh.
"Aphmau?!" Travis yelled, concerned.
"I'm fine. I had to run away from Katelyn." I explained, letting my huffs out."
"..." There was a long silence.
"Travis?" I asked, to check if he was there and I didn't drop the call.
"A-Aphmau...can I ask you a question?" Travis said quietly. He sounded serious.
"Y-yeah! What's up?" I said, walking over to my bed and sinking into the purple comforter.

"...There's a girl I know, she's the one I dream of..." I jumped a little. What?
"Looks into my eyes, takes me to the clouds above. Oh, I lose control, can't seem to get enough. When I wake from dreaming, tell me is it really love?"
I sat there patiently, listening to every word he was spitting out b
"How will I know (Can't trust my feelings)" I heard him mutter.
"How will I know...How will I know (Love can be deceiving)...How will I know?!" He yelled suddenly. I jumped and when I realized there was nothing to attack me, I put my hand over my heart and took a few deep breaths.
"How will I know if she really loves me?I say a prayer with every heart beat... I fall in love whenever we meet!" He stated.
"Travis why are you asking me?" I said suddenly.
"I'm asking you because you know about these things ." He said quietly. I stayed quiet after that.
"How will I know if she's thinking of me?
I try the phone but I turn shy (can't speak).
Falling in love is so bitter sweet!
This love is strong why do I feel weak?"
It stayed silent for a while, but then Travis went on with his rant again.
"Oh, help me, I'm shaking, wish I had her near me now..." He sniffed. Was he...tearing up?!
"Said there's no mistaking, what I feel is really love." He sighed.
I sat there, but before finishing Travis muttered something else.
"This love is strong, why do I feel weak?"
"Because...it's love."
"..."
"Travis..."
"..."
"I think you need to talk to her."
"...yeah..."
"...do you want to call her...or should I just give her the phone?"
"I...I'll call her...I just hope I don't turn shy again..."
"Travis, if you want, I can make my way over there for moral support..."
"...would you?"
"Of course! ...you're my not alone buddy after all."
"Wow...heh...its been a while since you've called me that."
"It really takes you back, doesn't it?"
"...yeah."
"Alright Travis, I'll be there in a little bit, okay?"
"...o-okay."
"Be there in like two minutes."
I hung up and quickly ran back down the stairs.
"Aphmau?! Where are you going?" Katelyn asked worriedly.
"Last minute work thing!!!" I worked up quickly. "Almost everyone is sick. I need to be there." I lied.
"O-okay."
"...I'll be here later and we continue, okay?"
"Okay." She smiled. I returned it and ran out the now open door.
I beelined across the street and ran into the door, giving it one giant KNOCK!
Laurance opened the door and gave me a confused look.
"Hey Aphmau...what do you need?"
"Too help a not-alone-buddy-in-need." I said, pushing through him.
"Aphmau?" Garroth said, rising from the couch as I walked past him.
"Hey. I'll talk to you guys later. I need to help someone." I said.
"Is it Travis, because he's been really distant lately. Like he won't even come out of his room anymore." Dante stated behind me. I spun around to face him.
"Yes." I said confidently.
"Well, you can try, but I highly doubt it's gonna work." Laurance shrugged.
I smiled victoriously. "I know him almost more than anyone else. He'll let me in."
"Okay...Garroth said in a cautious tone as we all approached the basement door. I knocked on it a few times.
"Travis, it's Aphmau." I said softly. The door was thrown open and his hand grabbed my wrist and pulled me inside. The doors slammed shut again as I struggled to regain my balance.
He already had his phone out with his thumb hovering the call button.
"Go ahead." I smiled and comforted. He gave me a curt but shaky nod, then hit the green call button. He quickly hit the speaker button and placed it down, letting the phone play its daunting ringing noise.
Finally a very annoyed and tired "hello?!" managed to make its way out of the phones speaker.
"H-hey Katelyn!"

And there we go! Done!

IM SORRY FOR LEAVING IT LIKE THAT!
If you wanna see a part two, then lemme know, okay? My fingers are tired, so I'm gonna rest for a while before I finish another book of mine.

Hope you guys enjoyed! Sorry if it sucked :/
