i woke up next to grace. I felt her coconut hair in my face. the other day I would have been annoyed if a girl was anywhere  near me but grace? she seemed so perfect. wait?

tanner: grace? your ready to go into the unit!
grace: woopie.

grace said with sarcasm as she gripped my hand. she squeezed three times then got up and winkined. i. love. you? that was all i could think of as i blushed majorly. she saw and giggled. i winked. what the hell are you doing tyler?!?! you are gay! i kept thinking about her. why??

grace: see ya in the unit later i guess...

she said kinda well sadly.

t: okay uh i lo- id love to see you there.

she saw what i was going to say as she was in a shock/happy/blushing state. i really didnt want her to leave. i know it wouldnt be long but as soon as she walked out that door i wanted to cry. i sat on my bed in the shitty hospital gowns. i sat there. alone. how did i already fucking miss this girl i just met? what about josh? i dont fucking care about him. but i do...god damnit.

it was about noon and i had the tv on to some judge judy rip off. i had a panic attack earlier. i overthought too bad this time about josh and grace. i was calm now after my meds. i look at the time 12:37 pm. "shit" i said quietly to myself. i looked at the nurse sitting at her desk. she was a pretty women. she had the curliest hair it was kinda short too. it was black like her eyes. her skin was a sweet coco brown. her name was jackie. she was the sweetest. i walked up to the desk.
t: uh..do you k-know when i get to go to the uh unit?
jackie: ummmm...

she paused to look at her papers and computer.

jackie: actually you will be later today around five sweetheart.
t: thanks.

i sat back down. only like four more hours. fuck. i think im gonna go to sleep. ill see you soon gracey. i thoight to myself as the judge judy remake just faded away.

tanner had waken me up.
tanner: tyler? its time to go to the unit.
t: what time is it?

i said in a raspy voice that made me think of josh's.

tanner: well its uh... 5:52 pm.
t: can we go now??
tanner: of course i have all of your things ready right now.

tanner took me out of the small room. i said by to jackie. tanner was holding a white bag. it had my clothes in it. yessss i can finally get out of this piece of shitty cloth. i thought as i smiled barely. we walked in the unit as tanner showed me my room. then i saw my roommate. "fuck." we both said.
