That's Brandon up top 😒
************************************Trudging towards wherever it was we were supposed to be, I felt my ankle throbbing with each step. I resisted the urge to cry out in pain, I'm sure the others were injured worse than me. So I walked on, making sure none of the others looked sickly.
I checked my surroundings, shivering. The farther we went, the colder it got.
As I looked around at the forest before me, I stumbled, falling on my face.
Typical of me. I'm so clumsy.
Tyson ran over to me. "You okay?" he asked.
I nodded, gripping my leg, which felt as if it had been stabbed repeatedly.
Tyson saw this and pulled me up, carrying me bridal style.
"No, it's okay, I promise. You can set me down, this is probably awkward for you," I insisted.
"It's not awkward." he shrugged.
"How so?"
"Because I'm gay, Violet. The only reason I'm carrying you is because you're hurt." he smiled.
I knew my gaydar always went off around him!
I laughed. "Fair enough."
I watched as the sun went down and my eyes felt sleepy.
No. No sleep. Tonight is my watch.
"Can you put me down now?" I asked Tyson. He nodded, setting me on the ground. My leg didn't hurt as bad anymore, hopefully it would feel better by morning.
The darkness slowly crept into the sky, making the night cold.
As we settled for the night, we heard loud rustling coming from the woods. Turning my wand into a sword, I stepped closer to the bush that was rustling.
A boy stumbled out, making me yelp.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to startle you," he said, his voice smooth with a British accent.
Bella stared at him, her eyes filled with wonder and slight lust. I felt my cheeks glowing red with jealousy as he let his blue eyes rake down her body. He ran his fingers through his chocolatey brown hair.
Bella seemed intrigued by him, smirking as he made his way over to her.
"I'm Brandon. And you are?" he smiled at her, making my face grow even hotter.
She glanced at me, biting her lip. I looked down nervously, waiting for her to answer him.
"Bella. Nice to meet you, Brandon."
He took her hand in his, kissing it gently.
He's bad luck. I know it.
