She gives me love, gives me
Love like all the time
A big heart, pretty smile,
A beautiful mind
When she walks in the room,
Man look how she shines
Don't need no spotlight, no fancy design
My first day in a new school. How wonderful, right? No. So far, I've already seen one kid shoved into lockers by big huge guys in football jerseys. I ask for directions from a girl, and appearantly now her boyfriend thinks I was making a move on her.
Man what a tough school this is. I managed to make it to math class before anyone else. I took a seat in the front. I tapped my pencil nervously on my desk .
"Hello Mr. Morgan." someone said. I looked, and it was like all the lights dimmed, and in the center was the girl who was walking in. I dropped my pencil, and she bent down to pick it up. I composed myself, so I could stop starring at her.
"Hey, I'm Samantha." she greeted, taking a seat next to me.
"Cody." I said. "Cody Simpson." Samantha smiled.
"Cool." she said. "You new?" I nodded.
"I remember when I was new..." she said. "You need a lunch buddy?" she asked. My heart leaped with joy as I nodded my head.
"Cool." she said. "I'll sit with you." I smiled.
"Thanks." I said.
Ever since then, we've been like best friends, and when your friends with one of the prettiest girls you know..
Feeling grow.
Yeah, yeah, that's my baby,
That's, that's my baby
Never wanna leave her you couldn't pay me and I, oh I
I think I finally found a girl
I want to rule my world
A few months pass, and I've gotten new friends. Samantha will always be my best friend though. No one can take that spot but her.
And maybe a few friends back at home, but as of right now, she's number one on my list. She sits with me in lunch. Sometimes we sit with the football and cheerleaders. She's made a few friends in the cheer squad, and I'm friends with almost the whole football team.
One day, however, there weren't enough seats for both Samantha and I.
"Cody, dude right here." Josh, the head of the football team, said patting the only empty seat next to him.
"Go ahead." Samantha said. "I can go find another table." she walked off, head down. I stood there, in the middle of the aisle.
"Sit down, Mr. Simpson." a teacher said as she saw me standing there. I nodded, and walked over with Samantha.
"What are you doing?" she asked.
"If you aren't there.." I said, pointing over towards the table we used to sit at, "Then thats not the place for me." Samantha smiled.
"Thanks Cody." she said. I returned the smile.
"Your welcome."
It's crazy but true, it's crazy but true
Can't see myself with nobody but you
It's crazy but true, it's crazy but true
