"Are you serious?!" I practically yelled into the phone reciever. My friend, Lynn who was on the other line, sneezed.
"Yea." she said in a sick voice. She had a cold, and was out sick for the rest of the week, and was giving ME her Justin Bieber ticket that she bought. "Hope you have fun. And you better get me an autograph, a t-shirt, AND his shoe."
"His shoe?" I asked, laughing.
"Hell yea. I want. His. Shoe." she said in a serious voice. "Or his hat will do."
I rolled my eyes. "You got it."
"Come by my house tomarrow to get the tickets, and some money for the shirt." Lynn said, and hung up. I clicked the red button to hang up also, and fell face forward into my pillow. And screamed.
"IM GOING TO A JUSTIN BIEBER CONCERT!!!" I screamed.
There was banging on my bedroom door, and I lifted my head. "Yea?"
"Dinner." my mom said on the other side of the door. "And stop with the screaming."
I smiled, and skipped down to the dinner table. My dad gave me a weird look, and I shot him a werid look.
"What are you so happy about?" he asked as mom sat his dinner infront of him.
"Lynn's sick." I said, before realizing that, that sounded real mean.
"And your happy about that because..." my dad guestered on.
"She gave me her Justin Bieber concert tickets!" I said, smiling.
"Dear God." my dad said. "And I'm guessing I'll have to take you all the way there, and fight traffic just so you can meet your 'future husband' or whatever?" he asked, using air quotes around 'future husband'.
"Excatly." I said, smiling wider. My dad rolled his eyes, and stuck his fork into his food, grumbling something.
"Eat up, Kate." my mom said, and I dug in too.
"Hey Mrs. Carter." I greeted as I walked into Lynn's house. She only lived down the street from me, so after dinner I decided to give her a visit. And I wanted to hold the ticket.
"Hey Kate. Lynn's in her room." she said, and pointed down the hall. I nodded, and knocked on Lynn's door.
"Come in." she said. I opened the door, and shut it behind me. "Hey Kate." she sounded a little better in person than on the phone.
"Hey Lynn." I said, and took a seat on the edge of her bed. "How ya feelin?" her cold wasn't contagious, but Lynn's mom wouldn't let her out of the house.
"It sucks in here." she said, and sneezed again. "Gross." she said, and reached for a tissue. "You excited?"
"Um, yea!" I said, smiling. "But I'm sorry you had to spend all that money on something you can't even go to."
"Which is excatly why your gonna get an autograph, and all that other stuff." Lynn said. "And you can call me, and let me listen to him when he sings 'baby'," she said, laughing.
"Hecks yea." I said, laughing along with her.
"You want the tickets now?" she asked, reaching over to her bedside table, getting some germix before handing me an envelope. "That has the ticket, and some extra money. And my shirt size, incase you were wondering."
"Thanks." I said, and put the envelope in my back pocket.
I stayed with Lynn until her mom kicked me out cause Lynn needed some sleep. It was around 8:20 when I got home, and took a shower, then went to sleep.
