There I sat, on my bed. Tonight was just a regular night for me. Nothing special since the guy I like was out for his famous world tour.
Yes, I like Justin Bieber, but not like most of his fans do. I used to be his best friend, before he was discovered. When he moved to the US, we kinda seperated, and rarely talked until one day we didn't talk at all.
but I still liked him...even if he never knew.
I walked down into my kitchen, and popped me a bag of popcorn. I decided to watch a movie,so after popping my popcorn, and getting a coke from the fridge, I lookedfor a good movieto watch. I had millions, but I wanted to watch a comedy, so I settled for Grownups. I popped it into the DVR, and relaxed on the couch.
Towards the middle of the movie, my phone dinged, telling me I got a new text message. I paused the movie so I could walk over to my purse, and pull my phone out from its hidden pocket. I looked at who sent it. It was a number I didn't recognize.
Hey, its me. Justin. it read. My heart could have completely stopped. I walked over to the couch, and added his number to my contacts before answering.
Justin!!! I sent, and waited for a reply. After a minute or so of waiting, I played the movie, and nibbled on some popcorn.
My phone dinged, and I didn't bother with pausing the movie.
What are you up to? was his message. I smiled.
Watching a movie. You?
I continued watching the movie, and once it was over my heart sank. Justin hadn't replied. I shrugged, figuring he was busy, and had a short amount of free time so he decided to text me.
Probably had to get my number from Ryan or Chaz.
I went up to my room, and played some music. Of course, Justin's songs begin to play. Yea, I ewas a fan. His song Never Let You Go began to play, and I smiled. It had to be one of the cutiest songs he sang.
I looked at my phone, and noticed Justin had tried to call me. I called him back, hopping he'd answer so we could finally talk after all this time.
After the thrid or fourth ring, he picked up.
"Hello?" his voice seemed much much deeper than it did when he left. "Delaney?"
"Hey Justin." I greeted. "You call?"
"Um yea!" he said, obviously happy. "I was just wondering how your life has been. We haven't talked in a while."
I laughed. "Yea, you must have been busy." Justin sighed.
"Yea."
"How's the life of a popstar?"
He groaned. "Busy, and tiering. But fun in the end." I laughed. "How about you?"
I sighed. "Boring without you. You always seemed to brighten people up when you lived here." Justin chuckled.
"I'm sure I did." he said. I nodded, and realized that he couldn't see me.
"Yea." I said, and laughed.
"You just nodded didn't you?" he asked.
"you know me too well." I said, smiling.
"Well duh!" he said, "Besides Ryan, your like my best friend!" My smiled widened.
"Aww," I said. "Should I feel special?" Justin chuckled again. A few minutes of silence settled in, and I plopped down on my bed.
"Hello?" I asked into the reciever. "Anyone home?"
"Sorry, Delaney." Justin said. "I've gotta go." I frowned.
