Chapter Ten"Get up."
"Five more minutes mom." I mumbled, snuggling even deeper into the covers.
"I'm not your mom dumbass," Monica nudged me. "Seriously, get up."
I opened one eye and saw Monica looking down at me. "What do you want?"
"The private dinner with Liam and his family is just a week away and we don't have anything to wear," she removed the covers from my body. "We need to go shopping today."
"But I'm not in the mood," I told her. Which was true. I'm too tired and too lazy to go out. That's the second reason why I don't want to go.
"Don't make me kick you off the bed," Monica threatened. "You know I'd do it without hesitation. I've done it before, I can and will do it again."
That pushed me up to my feet. "I'm up! See?" I chuckled half heartedly. "Just give me twenty minutes."
"That's what I thought," she said smugly. "There's breakfast waiting for you outside once you're done."

"So how are we going to the mall?" I asked her as I closed the door to our apartment.
"Marcus is bringing us there," she replied nonchalantly.
I groaned. "Seriously? I don't want to be the third wheel. I hate being the their wheel."
"He's just driving us, so relax," she waved it off. "He told me he has things to do anyway, but he's okay with bringing us there."
"You better not be lying or else I'm going back to the room," I told her.
"Like I'm going to let you go back to the room," she laughed. "But I promise you it's just you and me today. We didn't get to have free time for ourselves that much."
"You're right," I agreed. We both stepped out of the elevator and exited the building to find Marcus waiting for us outside.
"Always on time, Marcus," I acknowledged.
"Hey Ashley," he beamed at me and looked at Monica. "Hey, M."
"Hey," she grinned back at him. These two didn't move after that. I raised an eyebrow as I looked at them. They're whipped for each other.
I cleared my throat. "So, Monica told me that you're driving us to the mall?"
Marcus was the one who broke their eye contact and answered me. "Yeah, Monica needed a ride and I told her I'm heading to the city as well, but not with you guys."
"Do you already have a suit for the dinner?"
"That's actually what I'm going to do today too," he rubbed the back of his neck. "I'm having mine made at the tailor's where my dad makes his."
"Well come on!" Monica was already ahead of us when she said that.
Marcus and I walked together to where his car was parked when I spoke up, "You guys are completely oblivious to each other's feelings."
