Chapter Two

I woke up to the sound of knocking. I groaned and got up to open the door.

"Liam?" I rubbed my eyes as I saw him by the door. "What time is it?"

"It's ten in the morning." He brought his phone up and I heard a clicking sound. "This goes to the hall of fame." He chuckled.

"Not funny." I tried to grab his phone but he was too quick. "Delete that!"

"No thanks," He put his phone back in his pocket. "I think I'll have it developed. Get dressed, I'll show you around."

I crossed my arms, fully awake now. "I don't think so. Not until you delete that picture." Liam just stared at me and I just stared back. "I'm not moving until I see that picture deleted."

We still didn't move.

"I mean it Liam."

He grumbled something under his breath, and unlocked his phone as deleted it. "There, are you happy?"

"Yup! Now I can take a shower in peace. Make yourself at home while you wait." I walked inside the apartment as I said this. "Give me 15 minutes."

"Take your time." He chuckled and sat down, putting up his feet on the coffee table.

I rinsed my hair and scrubbed my body as I took a shower. I chose simple skinny jeans and loose sweater. Grabbing my things I went back to the living room to see Liam watching TV.

"Okay I'm ready." I stood by the kitchen.

"Sweet." Liam turned off the TV and stood up. "There's so much to see freshman."

"Where are we going first?" I asked him as we left the building.

"That is an excellent question." I didn't realize that we stopped in front of a coffee shop.

"Marcy's?" I asked.

Liam opened the door and draped an arm on my shoulder, bringing us inside. "Yeah! They serve the best coffee here on campus. You should also try their sandwiches, it's amazing!" We stopped in front of the cashier.

"I'll have a BLT sandwich and a cappuccino." His eyes focused on me and asked. "What do you want?"

"I'll have a hazelnut latte and a grilled cheese sandwich."

"Alright coming right up." The teenager smile at us. I saw Liam bring out his wallet, but I stopped him.

"I can pay for my own." I assured him bringing out my own wallet.

"Who said I'm paying for the both of us?" He raised his eyebrows.

And here I thought he was being chivalrous.

"I'm just kidding! Keep your wallet Ashley. I'm paying. No questions asked." He gave me a side smile and pulled out a twenty.

"But I just met you yesterday!"

"Doesn't matter. I always don't let the girl pay. Always." He brought us to te claiming station. "My mom would have my head if she found out I let the woman pay."
