The Weasley Wedding

Today is...my wedding day. I woke up this morning with tears running down my face. I had dreamed about me and the twins, like we were before all this dating and marriage and kids. Back when we were in our first year and we were stupid and in love with pranking.

I miss those years...

Suddenly, my door swung open and Molly, Ginny, Hermione and Fluer were dragging me up from the bed and pulling me into the bathroom. Ginny started brushing my hair out while Fluer worked on my makeup. Molly went into her room to get the wedding dress. When Gin was done brushing my hair Hermione and her started putting my hair up.

-------------------------

"Oh my...God." I whispered as I stared at myself in the mirror. The girls had curled my hair and pined it back at the side. Fluer had put on some light blue eye shadow and some black eyeliner. She had also put some blush on my cheeks, making them shine. She had put a little bit of pink lipstick on my lips as well.

The dress. Well, lets just say it was gorgeous. It was white and had ruffles running down it. It was strapless, revealing my shoulders. The shoes were the only problem I had. They were silver higheels. They were only an inch tall but still. I was scared I was going to trip and fall and then George would leave me forever.

I looked over at Molly, terror in my eyes. "M-Molly. What if I fall in these." I pointed at my shoes. But Molly only shook her head and smiled.

"Oh, dear. Don't worry. You're not going to fall. Trust me." She said kindly.

"Yes. I had to wear zem at my wedding, and I did not trip." Piped in Fluer. I scoffed.

"Yeah, but you practically live in heels. I haven't worn them a day in my life." I crossed my arms over my chest. It was true. Even when I went to the Yule Ball I didn't wear them. I wore my converse. I grinned to myself as I remember that night. Fred and George had both asked me to go with them. So I went with them. Poor Lee was all alone...But it was a fun night.

I jumped when I heard a knock at the bathroom door. Molly opened it and Arthur stood there in the doorway, looking handsome in a brown suit and tie.

"Oh, you look lovely, Lexi." He said as he noticed me in the back.

I blushed and smiled at my soon to be father-in-law. "Thanks..." I whispered. "Arthur? Can I ask you something important?" The women all walked pout of the bathroom and into the hall. Arthur smiled at me.

"What is it?"

I hesitated before answering, hoping that he would say yes. "Well, I was wondering -since...Sirius isn't here- if you would like to walk me down the isle...?"

Suddenly, the man swooped in and hugged me. He pulled away, a huge smile in his face. Really, it's a wonder his face hasn't shattered yet. "Of course!" He looked down at his watch that was on his arm. "Well, time to go downstairs." I nodded and we stepped out into the hall. The women must be outside, since they weren't there.

I could feel my heart thumping in my chest as we stood in front of the backdoor. Arthur nudged me with his arm and I looped mine with his. "Remember to breath." He mumbled to me as he opened the door.

There they were. All of our friends and family. Angelina and Lee sat in the middle, Angelina smile at me and Lee waved excidetly. There was a whole lot of redheads. Everywhere I looked there were red heads. It was like the attack of the gingers or something.

Soft music started playing somewhere and Arthur led me down the isle. I smiled at everyone I saw. Finally, we where almost there. George stood there, looking very handsome in a  black tux. Standing beside him was Ron, his best man. Hermione was standing there, looking very pretty in a pale pink dress with her falling down her shoulders. Arthur let me go and took a seat next to his wife, who had tears falling down her face already. I stood in front of George, who was biting his lip and grinning at me. I smiled back at him.

"Hey." He whispered.

I giggled softly. "Hey. I didn't trip." I whispered back and George grinned.

The preacher cleared his throat. "We are gathered here today..." But I droned him out, staring into Georges brown eyes. "Do you, Alexis Marie Smith, take George Gideon Weasley to be your husband?"

I nodded my head. "I do."

The preacher turned to George. "And do you, George Gideon Weasley, take Alexis Marie Smith to be your wife?"

"I do."

"You may now kiss the bride."

George grinned, mischief in his eyes as he cupped his hands around my cheeks and kissed me. Everyone cheered and threw rice at us as we walked down the isle. I laughed as Charlie threw a handful of the stuff and chucked it at George's face.

----------------------

I rested my head on my husbands shoulder as he spun us around. Someone had put up a huge tent outside, like they did for Bill and Fleurs wedding. Except, and I hope, that no Death Eaters were going to crash the party.

All the couples were dancing to the soft slow music. It was very romantic. Molly had put Adam up in our room to sleep, as it was well past midnight by now.

The song ended and Hermione rushed up to me. "You-you have to throw the flowers." She panted.

I looked behind me, just now seeing Ginny and Angelina standing there. I sighed and rolled my eyes. "Fine." I mumbled. I turned around and got ready to throw the bouquet of roses in my hands. "Three...two...one!" I threw it up in the air. When I turned around Hermione was standing there, blushing as red as the roses in her hands.

Ron was standing there beside her, smirking. "Well, I guess we gotta get married now. Bloody hell woman. Wouldn't even give the others a chance."

"I love you, Lexi." George whispered in my ear as he wrapped his arms around my waist, coming up behind me. He kissed my bare throat.

I leaned into him. "I love you too, Georgie."
