Crack!
Me and George landed outside of my new apartment. It's been three days since Harry's birthday and since then I had found an apartment. Of course, I couldn't just live with Molly and Arthur forever, so I decided to get my own place.
I had used all of the money I earned from working at the joke shop. I had found a nice apartment building just a few blocks away from the Leaky Couldron so I could just walk there then go into Diagon Alley.
George set down the two bags he had been carrying for me. I put down the other two. We stood in a light blue room with a couch and a recliner. There was a small TV up against the wall, in front of the couch. Off to the side was a small kitchen. There was a door that I presumed led to the bathroom and another door that was open and revealed a bedroom.
I turned towards George and smiled at him. "Thanks for coming with me." I said in a quiet voice. To be honest, I didn't really want to leave the Burrow. I didn't want to leave the only family I have.
"Um...you can stay here if you want...?" I said, somewhat nervous. The look on George's face was priceless. He had a huge teethy smile.
"Stop...that's kinda creepy." I said, backing away from him.
George started walking towards me, very slowly. I kept backing up until my back hit a counter that as in the small canary yellow kitchen. Shit, I'm trapped. George 's smile had long since vanished. Hos face was now full of no emotion.
George wrapped his arms around my waist and he laid his head on my shoulder. I snaked my arms around his neck and stroked his hair.
"Are you alright?" I asked, whispering next to his ear. He nodded his head.
"Yeah. Just miss him, you know?" He mumbled.
"It'll be alright Georgie. It'll be alright."

I hummed Lithium by Nirvana as stirred the maccaroni that was in the steaming hot pot on the stove. George had gone back to the Burrow to get his stuff and tell everyone that he was going to be staying with me from now on.
This was a huge jump in our relationship, him moving in with me. Frankly, I was scared. Scared that one day he would walk out and leave me here. Scared that he was going to get hurt and then I would loose another person that I really cared about and loved.
"Mmm. What are you making there, love?" George asked as he walked into the kitchen. He sat down at the little table in the middle of the kitchen.
"Mac and Cheese. Not anything as wonderful as Molly makes, but it'll do." I joked as I took the pot off the stove. I then started putting some of the food into two bowls. I carried the bowls over to the table where I sat down. I handed George his food. had already put spoons out and cups of juice.
"Eat up." I said.
We sat there in silence, both enjoying the cheesy food. After dinner we both washed the dishes and cleaned the kitchen up.
In our room, we both lay down, side by side. George had his arm wrapped around my side.
I felt at home.
