After classes were over I headed down to the Great Hall. I took my regular seat next to Neville. We talked about how our classes went and I told him all about little Amy and Tommy.
"That little git..." Mumbled Neville.
I just shook my head. "It's not his fault though. It's his family's for raising him up like that. Of course, it's horrible that he said that to her, but it's not his fault. Anyway, I gave him detention for tonight." I explained.
Neville nodded his head. "Did he at least apologize to Amy?" He asked. I nodded my head. "Good...good."
----------------------
I sat at my desk, twirling my wand in my hand. It was quiet, as everyone had finished dinner and went to their common rooms to do whatever. Tommy caught up to me as I was leaving the Great Hall and asked me if he could take a quick shower before coming in for detention. I told him he had fifteen minutes from the time I was done talking to the time it would take him to get back down to my class.
I looked up at the clock that was facing me on the opposite side of the wall. Tommy had two minutes to get here or I'm going to take away twenty points from his House and not let him go to the Hogsmead trip this weekend.
Suddenly, my door burst open and Tommy walked in, slamming the door close behind him. Water dripped down his face from his hair. He was panting as he took a seat in front of me. "S-sorry Professor. I got held up in the hall by Filch and his cat." He explained.
I grinned at him and nodded my head. "It's alright." I then waved my wand at him and he was suddenly dry. "You're welcome."
Tommy placed a hand on his now dry head. "Thanks..."
"Alright, so tonight you are going to be writing for me." Tommy pulled out pieces of parchment and his ink and quill. "You will write, 'I will not tell my peers that they are worthless and I will also not discriminate against Muggle-borns and Half-bloods.'" I said.
Tommy nodded his head and got to work. We must have sat there for a good twenty minutes before there was a knock on the door.
"Come in." I called out.
George walked in, holding little Adam in his arms. He smiled brightly at me. "Hey." I quickly stood up and engulfed them in a hug. "Good to see you too." Said George, jokingly.
I giggled like a little school girl and wiped away a few tears that had escaped my eyes. It's been too damn long since I saw my baby. Well, both of my babies.
I took Adam out of my husbands arms and kissed his little cheek. Adam smiled up at me. "Hey baby. Mommy missed you." I cooed. And that's when I remembered that Tommy was still here. "Oh, Tommy. This is my husband George and my baby Adam." I introduced my family to my student. Tommy smiled up at them and then got back to his writing.
I kissed George on the cheek. "I missed you guys." I whispered.
"We missed you too. That's kinda the reason we're here actually. I just wanted Adam to see his mommy and I wanted to see you so it all worked out great, huh?"
I nodded my head. "Well, listen I'm kinda busy so maybe we could catch up on Saturday for the Hogsmead trip. I'm going with Neville so we can just all hang out together. Does that sound nice?" I asked him.
"Yea, yea of course. I'll see you soon. Okay?" I nodded my head. "I love you." He then kissed me full on the lips and took Adam from me.
"I love you too. And I love you." I said to my baby, kissing his forehead. "I'll see you guys soon. Watch over daddy Adam."
They then left, leaving me alone with Tommy. I took my seat at my desk. "Sorry about that..." I said quietly.
Tommy looked up at me. "Don't be. You were just happy to see your family." He said softly. I smiled down at him.
"How many times have you wrote that sentence?" I asked him.
Tommy took a minute to count how much he wrote. "Uh...about twenty-nine times." He answered.
"Well, write it one more time then you are free to leave." I said. Tommy nodded his head. I stood up from my seat, pushing the seat under the desk. I then picked up my bag, swinging it onto my shoulder. Tommy stood up and started putting his things in his bag. When he was done, he handed me the parchments that he wrote. I stuffed them into my bag and we left the room. He walked me all the way to my room.
"Thanks for walking me back to my room." I said to the little Ravenclaw boy.
He shook his head and acted like it was no big deal. "It's no biggie."
"Well, for being so nice, I'll award Ravenclaw five points." I smiled down at Tommy.
"Thanks..." He then turned around and headed up the stairs to his common room. I then went inside my own room and got ready for bed.
I had a strange dream that night. It was me and the twins, back when the were both here. I had a dream of the Yull Ball that we went to a few years ago. It was a lovely dream. One filled with happyness and dancing.
