"Do you want to take it or leave it?" Samillia's words rang in my mind as I walked towards the hospital's elevator.

"I need some time to think. Tonight, I will give you a final answer. I'll take a short walk and come back," I recalled my answer while I pressed on the second floor button.

Her calm, yet broken voice repeated her answer in my mind, "No problem, think about it, and tonight we'll talk before we go to bed. Natallie, Adam, and I will wait here until Dr. Kingsley is done with all the procedures required to receive Granny's corpse. You can do whatever, but be here by seven, not a minute later."

For the millionth time, I took a look at my worn-out watch. I sighed realizing that there was only ten minutes left in my walk. Ting, the elevator stopped, the doors were opened slowly, and I took a step out. After walking aimlessly for the past ten minutes, I finally knew where I was going, to the hospital's nursery. When I reached the large glass window of the nursery, I stood there watching the rows and columns of rectangular cribs, each having a color resembling the gender of the little one inside it. I smiled proudly seeing that the pink color was surpassing the blue one in number. My smile grew wider as I talked to the little ones silently.

How lucky you little creatures are! You're not only cute and beautiful, but also innocent and carefree. Oh, how much I wish I were any of you, with no troubles nor worries. I envy each and every one of you. I bet you'd never feel my pain, no one will. Oh god, what shall I do. If I stay, I might be in danger of being killed or kidnapped. After all Samantha turned out to be a drug addict, and she has a lot of debts, the ones from Mike's jailing and other debts I don't seem to know anything about. If they have this amount of debt, how are they supposed to pay me? What about her troubles with this weird man who almost killed Mike? On the other hand, if I leave, I'd be walking straight into hell. Oh, how much I hate that sick old woman! "Do that and do this! Are you an idiot?! You don't deserve any of the money I give you!" she'd say. Hah, as if she gave me any money at all! I would do anything to swipe this arrogant look off her face!

I took a deep breath in, let it out, and checked my watch again. Oh, no! It's already ten minutes past seven! How can I be too indulged in my thoughts! I made a mental note to stop wandering in the folds of my mind before rushing to the elevator, which was in the third floor. A few seconds later, the doors of the elevator were opened proceeded by the familiar Ting. I took a step in to meet with a middle aged man who was wearing a white coat. "Excuse me, are you Samantha Williams, the famous actress?" he asked.

"Yes, that's me," I replied.

"I can't believe I just met you! It's a great pleasure!  I'm a great fan of yours, and so are my wife and children. If Sammy had been here, he would've been very happy! I really loved your movie Alone, and Golden Hearts was awesome too! Sammy's favorite was Joy, and Ellie loved Holding to you. Personally, I don't have a favorite, all your works are a piece of art. I heard that your brother tried to kill you for hiding your father's will and not giving him his full inheritance rights. Are you here for that?" he said rambling on and on until my head almost exploded. I couldn't believe someone could talk this fast. Ting, the elevator door finally opened saving me from the talkative fan.

I left the elevator and said hastily, "Nice to meet you, doc. Say hi to your family, and I'm really glad I have such lovely fans as you guys. Oh, and about the rumors you heard, don't believe all what you hear. I really have to go now." I rushed to the waiting room taking one final look at my watch before opening the room's door. Oops! I am already fifteen minutes late!

I walked towards the couch where Sam, Adam, and Natallie where sitting on. "I'm very very sorry. I know I'm late, but I have a good excuse," I said approaching them.
