Third person (way too frequent rn)

"No," Cosette said flatly, crossing her arms.

"Wha---but Konimi, you still have to---" Kuroo began, but he was cut off.

"I am not going to study with you 24/7, no matter how important it is for me to not get kicked out. For one thing, you're pretty much a pain most of the time. For another, I need my break, and so do you."

"I'm not a pain!"

"You are. I only put up with you because I have to."

"Mean."

But the third-year sighed, defeated. It was true that he himself needed a break, but he knew he couldn't slack off of this so easily. He knew he had to be comitted to helping her increase her grades, or Kenma would never forgive him.

"Kuro, please... If you're not doing this for her, then do it for me," his best friend had practically pleaded him to take this tutoring thing seriously.

And as it turns out though, he's now doing it for her, his best friend, and himself.

"Oh, alright, alright, you win..." he reluctantly agreed. "I guess we can take a break, but Konimi, I want you to pass this, okay? And it's not just me who wants that, actually... the whole team does. And Naomi, Onishi, and Honda-chon."

Cosette gave him a half-smile. "Yeah, I know. I... actually want to pass, too."

For probably the first time ever.

And Kuroo relaxed a little, grateful. Nodding slightly, he waved her away. "Alright, go enjoy your well-deserved break, then."

And she turned around, waving over her shoulder. "Thanks so far, Kuroo. See you around."

"Geez, that girl and her conflicting moods," Kuroo shook his head after her.

Cosette turned around the corner, halting to a stop when she saw Seira.

"Oh, Cosette," the redhead said in an almost sarcastic manner that surprised the said second-year. "Haven't seen you in a while."

She frowned confusedly at her friend's tone of voice and lacking expression. "Yeah... I had---"

"Tutoring? With Kuroo? Yeah, I know."

Something's not right here...

A brief wave of fear enveloped the blonde's mind, and she mentally scolded herself as she brushed it away

Geez, when you let yourself get attached to someone, you start overthinking everything. Maybe she's just having a bad day.

However, what Seira said next caught her off-guard.

"Are you having fun, then?"

Cosette's frown deepened. "No, of course not?" she said questioningly.

She knows full well that I'm not on good terms with him.

Her stomach dropped as Seira's eyes narrowed.

"Yeah, sure, whatever."

And with that, the third-year sidestepped and walked ahead, leaving Cosette standing there, dumbfounded.

What... is with her?

She wasn't as close to Naomi, Seira, or Ayame, but even so, she'd already grown attached to them, and losing them was not something she would want.

Shaking her head, she brushed the situation away.

I can't over-analyze.

And she walked on ahead, making her way to the cafeteria.
