Vic taking me to the adoption center made me realize that sometimes you can't help the situation you are in, but you have to make the best of it, and eventually things will be okay. That's basically what the lesson was, and I appreciated what he did. It's not often that someone would do something like that for me.

I did decide to go out with Justin and Alan though, mostly because I need money. I had gone to a new client this time. He was new to New York, and asked me to show him what it's all about here. And of course I have him a good time. I woke up in his rented hotel room, but he was still sleep. I got up, used the shower, and got dressed again before walking out. This time though, he was awake.

"Hey. Thanks for such a great night. I might have to pick you up again one of these days," he said walking towards me. He wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed me. This kiss though, wasn't a kiss that leads to sex. This was a kiss that couples shared with each other, and it made me uncomfortable. Not only did it make me uncomfortable, it made me feel like I was cheating Oli.

I knew nothing would come of us, but I am fair to him just as he is to me. He stays loyal to me and makes me feel special, so in turn, I mask my emotions. Its stupid I know. And as much as I tell myself not to fall for him, every time I'm with him, I fall harder. I saw what happened to Justin, but I still haven't stopped.

He pulled away took my hand in his, and with a Sharpy he wrote his name and number down. He smiled and gave me a kiss again before going over to the nightstand and getting my money. He handed it to me and I was quick to get out.

I walked all the way home, my house wasn't far from the upscale hotel he was at, so it didn't take long to get there. As soon as I walked in, I heard the answering machine go off, meaning I had just missed a call. Instead of answering it, I let whoever was on the other line talk.

"Hey Kellin, it's Alan. Your phone is off again so I was calling to see if you're home or not. Apparently not, but Jesse came by to my house this morning at around six looking for Justin. He was saying something about killing him because of all the things he said, but it was clear he was drinking. I don't know what to do. Justin isn't answering. I went by his house, he isn't there. Just. . . If you hear from him call me," he said in a strained voice before he hung up.

I wasn't going to deal with them anymore. I'm done with dealing with someone else's drama. I can barely keep up with my own life let alone someone else's. So with that, I didn't try searching for Justin. As I was putting my cell phone on the charger in my room, I heard the house phone ring. I went to see who was calling, probably Alan. But I was surprised to see Matty's caller ID show up, telling me he was calling. We haven't talked since the day we went to Ryden's. I wonder if he had changed any, or if he is exactly the same.

"Hello?" I answered.

"Hey baby, what are you doing?" he said, confirming my thoughts of if he had changed or not since then.

"What do you want?" I asked ignoring his question.

"Chill. We can't have a conversation?" He said arrogantly..

"We can if you tell me what you want. I don't have time for small talk," I said, a but harsh if I do say so myself. But I ready don't have time for his games.

"It's not like you do anything during the day anyways, whore," he said. I almost hung up on him. Almost.

"Anyways. I wanted to ask you if you wanted to come over tonight. I'm having a get together with a few people and I need you there," he said.

"Why do you need me?"

"Because I want to show off my favorite toy, why else," he said in a condescending tone, taking to me like I was two years old.

But this time I hung up.

The phone rang again, but I let it go to voicemail. The answering machine came on, and Matty's annoying self blared through the speakers. I don't know why I stayed and listened, but I did m

"Kellin you fucking idiot, it was a damn joke. I need you to come over because Jesse told me to get you over here-"

"Fuck Jesse for all he's worth! Don't call me with that bull," I practically yelled, picking up the phone and cutting him off from finishing what he had to say.

"Jesse's orders," he said.

"You're stupid, Matty Mullins. You're stupid for following him. You're stupid for calling me. You are arrogant, and you can't even see it yourself because you're so blinded by money. You should be humiliated for being so prideful about siding with Jesse," I said. And as much as I told myself not to get into other people's drama, here I am, as always, doing the exact opposite.

"Shut up Kellin. You act like this has to do with you."

"It does when you call me bringing me into it," I said bitterly. It's the truth. He can't drag me into his petty little drama and say that I'm not apart of it. As soon as he said my name, it brought me up in the conversation, I became apart of it.

"I highly doubt Jesse would want anything to do with you. You Alan, and Justin," he said trying to redeem himself, obviously failing.

"Then why does he want me," I said feed up with everything.

"He wants to make you an offer. I'm not saying anything yet, but come down to my house." He relaxed his voice a lot more, and so did I do we weren't practically yelling at either.

"No. End of story," I said getting ready to hang up, but his sinister tone of voice made me not.

"Justin deserved what he got."

And he hung up.
