I didn't exactly edit so yeah...

"All I'm saying is that pizza would be a terrible ice cream flavor," I laugh into the phone. I decided to call Vic this afternoon at about 2:30, when Justin left to get my mind off of him. It seems rude, but it worked, and we've been talking for hours. I feel happy talking to him. He's the perfect distraction that I've been looking for this whole time I've lived here. But we've been talking for hours, and its now 7:30. And we seem to not want to hang up any time soon.

"Okay, well I think it wouldn't be half bad," he says stubbornly. I just laugh at our childish banter. I feel my phone vibrate in my hand and then a beep, signaling someone is calling me on the other line.

"Hold on Vic, someone else is calling me," I say before checking my phone to see that its Alan. I switch calls and answer him.

"Let's go out tonight," he says.

"Alan, we go out every night, it's our job," I say.

"No no, I mean like, let's go to a club tonight! But not like a cheap club, like a reasonably nice club," he says trying to explain.

"Okay. What time?" I ask.

"I'll go to your place at 10:30? He asks.

"Okay I'll be ready. What are you going to wear?" I ask. I don't want to be too nicely dressed, but then I don't want to be underdressed.

"Probably grey skinny jeans and a black muscle shirt or something," he says. So he isn't "dressing like a whore" which means this is purely a friends hang out night.

"Okay cool. I'll see you when you get here," I say and quickly switch lines going back to Vic to keep him from waiting any longer.

"Hey Vic. Sorry bout that. But I've got to go. I'll talk to you later?" I ask.

"Yeah sure. That's fine. Talk to you later Kellin," he says. The way he said that phrase was like a sad puppy dog who just got kicked. It makes me think that he half enjoyed our conversation as much as I did.

With our last goodbyes, I hang up the phone and I am left to get ready for the night. I go to my closet and scan my wardrobe. After about five minutes of contemplating what to wear, I finally decide on dark red skinny jeans with a black tank top that has a white pocket on it, with black vans. Simple yet, cute.

I hop in the shower after letting it warm up. My shower is quick; I'm out I'm less then ten minutes. I dry off my body, and run a towel through my hair a couple of times before getting the dryer and blow drying it to perfection. After I'm done with that, I put on my clothes.

I finish getting ready, and once I'm done, I still have an hour til Alan is going to pick me up. I get my phone out and charge it til it's at 100% and then I turn on the TV to pass the time.

After an hour, I hear the my phone ringing. I just assumed it was Alan calling to tell me he will be here in five minutes since he doesn't like waiting for people. I turned off the TV and grabbed my phone seeing that I did in fact have a missed call from Alan. I hurried to my front door and returned the call and the same time, and headed downstairs to the main lobby.

"Hey," he answered.

"I'm already going outside," I said knowingly.

"Okay bye," he said. I exited the elevator doors after they opened, and went to stand out front for Alan, a minute later I saw his car coming up. I got in, greeted him with a "hey" and then I put on my seatbelt and we were off.

Thirty minutes, it took us thirty minutes to get to the main part of the busy city. We parked far away unfortunately due to traffic, but it would be faster to walk the rest of the way. So we did, and another thirty minutes went by.
