A few days go by and some progress has been made. Michael's wounds have healed and is just left with a cut in his cheek. But Derek is still in the hospital sleeping. He hasn't woken up since he came. Derek got shoot in the stomach, he's alright he will live, he just hasn't woken up. Jess has never left his side, she's been sitting at his bed waiting, waiting and waiting, for him to wake up.
"Derek....Derek please wake up.....I need you Derek.....I need you" Jess said repeatedly.
"You brought light to my life Derek.....you showed me so much....I....love you Derek..." Derek flinched a bit when he heard those 3 little words. Michael and I walk into the room seeing Jess holding onto her hands.
"How's the patient?" Michael asked.
"He's getting better...." Jess said. I look at Jess then at Michael, I see his face it's just focused on Derek's body, praying that he wakes up. I touch his cheek and Michael grabs my hand and kisses it. Suddenly Derek moves.
"....Jess...." Derek said in a quiet voice.
"Derek..Derek! I'm right here!" Jess screams as she places her hands on his cheeks. I grab Michael hand and squeeze it tight and Michael does the same.
"....Jess" he said while flicking his eyes open. He woke up.
