"Oh, hey your here" It was Derek it seemed he was waiting for her.

"What do you want?" She said as she walked over to him.

"I wanted to talk, I didn't get to the last time we spoke" he said. Jess just stands there in sure. To everyone around him he seemed like a bad guy but to Jess some how it was different.

"What do you want to talk about?" She asked.

"Not here" Derek grabs her arm and drags her.

"H-hey!" She yelled but Derek still dragged her. He dragged her to her old work spot.

"Hey Jess long time no see, oh who is this?" Olivia asked.

"Oh, this is um"

"I'm her boyfriend" Derek said with a smirk across his face.

"What!?"

"Olivia wait! You got it wrong! H-he's not my boyfriend he's just joking, right!?" Jess said while kicking Derek under the table.

"Ouch! I mean yeah sorry I like to joke around"

"Well ok, um what can I get you?" Olivia asked.

"Two coffees" Jess said.

"What do you an want to talk about?"

"Well, a lot of things really but manly about you"

"About me?"

"Yeah, why aren't you scared of me? When I bumped into you, you didn't run from me and just now when I met up with you, you didn't run then either, why?" Derek asked.

"Am I suppose to be scared of you? Because I don't see anything to be scared of..." Jess said staring at him and Derek gives out a smile.

"Your a weird girl you know that" he said while Jess smiled. Jess then said something brave as Olivia hands out there coffee.

"Who do you know Michael?"

"!? That's...a long story, anyway how do you know him?"

"He's a teacher at my uni he's also dating my best friend"

"Oh yeah, that girl from the concert he was protecting, so she was his girlfriend" Derek said.

"Anyway isn't it strange to have those to dating"

"What do you mean?" Jess said un sure.

"Well one is Italian and one is well Asian"

"Don't tell me you into that old day and age shit?" Jess asked harshly trying to protect her friend.

"No it's just I think both of them are gonna get in real trouble if someone find out"

"Yeah her dad is kinda strict....anyway were off topic! Who do you know Michael I wanna know!" Jess asked.

"Me and Michael were...best friends" Derek said while looking down into his coffee. Jess was surprised because they didn't acted like friends. What happened all those years ago.
