Happy New Year, Bucky! I do hope you Brooklynites would celebrate. I know personally that peddling never takes a recess, but surely you'll find yourselves drinking tonight. I know it isn't new to you.
You have been asking about the wedding, and I believe we are heading toward a Spring wedding! Everything is quite hectic here. Have I told you that Anthony is, of course, still hopelessly in love with Rosaline? She did indeed go back to her university to finish her schooling, but she finished just two months ago! She is moving back into the manor, and Anthony couldn't be more excited.
They are helplessly infatuated with each other, though they would never admit it. I must find a way to finally get them together.
Please update me of Les' leadership! I'm certain David is proud.
Sincerely,
K.S.
"Kendall!" She heard someone scream.
"Back so soon?" She laughed once she approached the banister, Rosaline standing at the front door.
"I tell you, Kendall, the last few days were impossible!"
"Now you can relax," She says as Rosaline ascends the staircase. "But that is what you have been doing for the past two months,"
"Moving is a difficult process." She fell flat on Kendall's bed. "What have you been up to while I was away?"
"Planning my future is all," She says. "It's a difficult process as well,"
Just then, they heard a knock.
"Quickly, if it is Anthony, tell him I am not here," Rosaline hid behind the curtains.
"What, why?"
"Just do it!" She whisper-yelled.
On the other side was Francis.
"Hello, dear brother,"
"Has Rosaline arrived yet?"
"No, why do you wonder?"
"I do not, Anthony does." Francis chuckles. "He asked me to check before he came inside from our afternoon ride,"
"He is hiding from her,"
"In a way, I guess so," He says before stepping back from the door. "I shall tell him not to worry, then,"
Kendall shut the door and shot Rosaline, who came out from hiding, a questioning look.
"Why do you avoid Anthony?"
"I was at university, counting down the days until I could see him again. I have fallen so deep in love with him, Kendall," She sighs. "I wrote him a letter, we had been writing each other back and forth many times, but this letter was different. I confessed my feelings for him, pouring my heart out into the letter."
"So?"
"He never replied," She says. "I was so embarrassed, he probably thought me as a desperate child. And now! He hides from me again! Trying to escape the obsessed stalker--"
"Rosaline, please, I am sure there is some mistake," She says. "The Anthony I know is no doubted in love with you as well,"
"You're going to have to confront him eventually anyways," She adds.
"I will sleep on it," Rosaline slips under the covers of Kendall's bed.
"Rosaline," She tried. When Rosaline didn't answer, she sighed. "Fine,"
