Broken hearts playing games
Shameless lies in lives
Lives that claim
To be more than you see
Gloomy days and teary eyes
Feelings that disappear into the night sky
Broken glass and a beating heart
Feelings and people falling apart
Dark skies clouding in your eyes
The rain starts to pour
You can feel the storm rolling in
Thunder starts to boom
Lightning begins to strike
It's all because of you
Nervousness in the pit of my stomach
It runs wild like a pack of wolves
You begin to feel something you never felt before
It begins to heat up your hot
Can you feel my cold?
Can you feel it attacking you?
Twisting and turning before our eyes
Beginning to spark and in surprise
Pulling me in like a current does a child
Drowning slowly in what used to be more
Tightness surrounds me
Holding on
Tonight beginning to fade
Reaching into the gray, feeling for something
Something that's not there
Whispers from every corner
Memories flashing before the eyes of the innocent
Can you feel us?
Everything that once was, is destroyed
Rubble at my feet looking into the dark sky
Your voice slowly fading
Into the back of my head
Haunting me slowly
Tears stained face
Look into the faces of what once brought sunshine
Water surrounding you
Drip
Drip
Following off of you
You begin to fade
Reaching
Reaching for me
Hands forward
Coming for me
Feet hitting the ground
Speeding away
"Come back" a scream from behind
"I'm not needed here"
Tears falling slowly as you disappear from my eyes
A vision dances around me
He's gone
He was never here
