Kimberly falls to her knees, her bright white glow fades. Her angelic white wings, turn back to their normal smoky black, and her white dress is now her regular clothes. Her glowing eye turns a bright crimson.

"LUCIFER!" She yells at the top of her lungs, as the crater around her is set ablaze. Probably waking the entire neighborhood.

I hear cop cars nearby, I assume they are coming to see what the bright light earlier was about.

"Kimberly, we have to go now!" I shout to her. I see her take off from the center of the crater. The flames dance to her exit. I follow her and look back down to see a few cop cars and a fire engine turn the corner and arrive at our crash cite.

I follow Kimberly into the forest and we arrive at the cliff. When she lands, she picks up a few rocks and launches them into the water below.

She slowly falls to her knees once again. She sits there crying and mumbling to herself.

I watch her, not sure what to do. I carefully make my way over to her and put a hand on her shoulder.

She stands up. Then swiftly turns around bringing her fist to my face. I stumble back in shock. I look back at her, tears streaming from her grey eye staining her pale cheeks.

"HE IS GONE JACKSON!" She yells, as if it were my fault. She threatens to punch me again, but her gaze shifts away. Her fist loosens and gently falls to her side.

"I-I'm sorry..."She says slightly quivering, as more tears begin to fall.

I gently wrap my arms around her. She doesn't pull away...Instead I feel her arms hesitantly make their way around me.

"It's fine...Why did you show up when he came? How could you tell I was in danger?" I ask. Her body stiffens.

"I need to protect you and chase...A more detailed answer would destroy a lot of things." She says tightening her hold on me. How could a simple answer destroy something.

"Tomorrow I will show you and Chase something...it should wave in some memories. But for now I want you to rest...Lucifer won't come back tonight, so you should be safe." She says slowly pulling away from our embrace.  After that she escorts me home.

When I got in bed it was around 2am yet I couldn't seem to fall asleep. The thought of me being assassinated in my sleep or being hunted down kept me on edge.

When morning came, I sat in bed remembering the few fragments from my dream. Blood, war, Kimberly, Chase, and Lucifer.

While I got ready I notice the wound on my side is better, but the gash on my face doesn't look so well.

When I'm ready for school I walk to Addison's house. I spot her sitting on her patio stairs, patiently waiting for me.

"Morning Addie." I say, walking up to her and placing a slight kiss on her cheek. She crosses her arms, giving me an annoyed look.

"You didn't even text me this weekend." She says standing up and begins to walk.

"Ya sorry about that," I say as I walk along side her and scratch the back of my neck.

"Where were you anyway? Everyone said you and Chase completely disappeared after practice on Friday." She says with a slight tilt of her head.
