Flames's POV
Is she really OK? Or is she just saying that she is to make me less worried? So many questions were in my head but there wasn't time to ask them all.
Soon, Lucy and I were staring directly at a huge building. It was the castle.
"Alright. I'll go first. You stay here and keep your guard up. I'll call you once I make it in. That is, if I make it in."
Lucy nodded and I started to climb up the sides of the small tower.
Clinging onto the old cement blocks, I dared not to look down. I knew I was almost there and approximately twelve feet above the ground.
Sure enough, I was right. But when I peeked my head up to gaze inside the small window, I saw Boris and another one of Fuzzy's henchmen.
I ducked back down.
"Alright," I mutter. "Maybe this won't be as easy as I thought."
Then sluggishly I made my way back down again.
Lucy's POV
What in the world is Flames doing? Shouldn't he be going up?Soon, Flames was back on the ground.
"What are you doing!" I exclaimed.
"There's no way we're getting in! There's too many henchmen." Flames responded, taking a few breaths inbetween.
I rolled my eyes. "Who cares? I thought you were Flames Pond!"
Now Flames seemed to get offended.
"I am Flames Pond!" he shouted back. "But I'm not wanting to go back up there! Not now... Maybe another day. Come on, let's head back."
He started to leave, but I stayed put right where I was. He turned to face me and then he raised an eyebrow in impatience.
"Lucy," he said, his voice rising a bit. "Don't make me carry you..."
"I'm not leaving, Flames!" I shout.
He was just about to say something back until we both heard shouts, not too far from us. And they sounded like angry shouts.
Flames and I turned to look in the direction the sound was coming from.
It was Fuzzy's henchmen!
"Told ya so!" Flames said, sweeping me off my feet and running as fast as he could with the henchmen following closely behind us.
********************************
Now I was on my feet running alongside Flames.Fuzzy isn't stupid, that's for sure.
I thought.Me and Flames made a sharp turn to the left and through the woods again.
To our surprise, we saw the cliff was barricaded off by a large mountain stack of heavy boulders the size of Mt. Everest.
OK, that was exaggeration.
I looked at Flames.
"Dang it!" he said. "We're trapped!"
Then a smirk came on his face. "Or maybe we're not... Alright. Hold on."
He got his car keys out and pressed a red button making a beeping noise go off.
A black mustang comes driving in.
He got in it once it parked.
"Well, what are you waiting for? Get in!"I quickly get in the passenger's seat and Flames hit the gas. Soon, we were off like lightning.
Far behind us, Fuzzy's henchmen were cussing in vain. They had just let Flames escape again.
