Flames Pond and the Princess: The Return of Fuzzy Guy

Too Late!

Lucy's POV
I was standing near the dinner table when Flames came in.

"Alright," he said. "Whatcha got?"

"Look," I say pointing to the laptop on the table. "This isn't ours. We don't use much technology like this. Besides we'd rather stick to a modern computer than a fancy laptop."

Flames inspected the laptop carefully.

Suddenly a call request on Skype appears. It said that it was from the username, FuzzyRules101.

Flames shot me a, 'What do you want to do?' look.

So I accepted the request.

The screen took us both face-to-face with none other than Fuzzy Guy himself.

He was muted though.

Fuzzy opened his mouth but nothing came out.

"Hey, uh, Fuzzy?" Flames said.

Fuzzy turned to face us.

"Um, you're muted."

Again, Fuzzy opened his nouth and nothing came out.

"This happens all the time when someone wants to do a Skype call with me." Flames said while Fuzzy tried to fix the problem.

Then the microphone disappeared from Fuzzy's screen.

But then the screen goes black.

"Now we can't see you." I say.

"Hello?" Fuzzy asked trying to see if we're still there.

"We're... still here." Flames said.

Finally Fuzzy's face could be seen again.

"OK. Just leave it! It's good." Flames said.

"Are you sure?" Fuzzy asked.

"Yes." both Flames and I say in unison.

"OK." Fuzzy said. "Boris, we really need to check on this thing. Anyway... I knew you'd answer sooner or later. And look what the cat dragged in. If it isn't Flames Pond, the greatest superhero of all times!"

Flames glared.

"And then there's one, yet unknown agent. Who is your new partner in crime, Flames?"

"This is none other than-"
He paused for dramatic effect.
"Star Swirl!"

There was a complete moment of silence.

Then I couldn't tell if Fuzzy was mumbling something or if he was dying of laughter.

Turns out he was dying of laughter.

"Hahahahaha!!!! What kind of name is that? That doesn't even sound cool! Whoever that guy is Flames, turns out that he needs a new name! Hahahaha!!!"

"Says a fluffy yellow bird alien by the name of Fuzzy Guy!" I shout back, offended by Fuzzy's words.

"Wait just a second... So, you're the mysterious agent everyone keeps blabbing on about!"

I nod. "That's right! I'm-"
I paused for I was quite confused.
"Wait, what mysterious agent?"

"Well, about let's say, two days ago, my men have told me that there was another person fighting alongside Flames in his escape from the tower. I thought my men have been hit so hard by Flames that they've lost their minds completely! But then more reports came flooding in about you both defeating the best of my henchmen ever to join me! So, I decided to see this ''agent'' for myself. And now, here he is!"

"You mean, she." I corrected him.

"Oh, yes. She..." Fuzzy said, getting a little sidetracked. Then he started to focus again.
"Anyway, you're too late, Flames! Guess what I have!"

"A life?" Flames asked in a unamused way.

Fuzzy seemed to be taken aback by this. Although it was meant to be sarcastic.
"What? No!"

He got a shovel.

"Behold! The shovel of Queen Elizabeth!"

Flames and I gasped.

"That's right." Fuzzy Guy said. "And guess what that means."

"What?" I ask.

"I have it. And you don't. Hahahahaha!!!"

"Not for long you won't, Fuzzy!" Flames said.
"We're going to come and stop you! You'll see."

"I don't think so, Flames." Fuzzy said.
"Not this time..."

Then I saw Fuzzy pull a switch and a trapdoor forms beneath Flames's feet and he fell.

"AHHHHH!!!!" I heard him scream.

"Flames!" I shout, looking down the deep, dark hole.

But it was no use. Flames was gone.

I turned to face the screen again to see Fuzzy laughing.

"As for you," Fuzzy said. "I have something special for you."

"No..." I start to back away slowly.
But then I started heading for the door.

Before I reached the outside, I tripped.

And before I could get up, I saw a silhouette come and pick me up.

Then I remembered no more.
