A Guy's Gotta Have His Secrets

Lucy's POV
"Flames, if you're here to apologize, forget it." I said.

Flames didn't leave.
"Alright," he said. "But come back with me, please, Lucy?"

"Why?"

"One, because I feel really awful about the way I treated you back there and two, it's pouring rain and your dress is more soaked than a wet dog! So, please, stop and get in."

I really hated Flames right now. But he had a point. And I could imagine the heated seats, warmth...

Finally I sighed and got in the passenger's seat again.
When I closed the door, I shivered violently.

Flames took his jacket off and handed it to me.

I take it gratefully.
"Thanks." I say, putting it on.

Flames smiled slightly and then he drove us back to the hotel room.

Flames's POV
I was relieved when we got back to my hotel room. But I still had to find Lucy a set of spare clothing.

"Hmmm..."

"What?" Lucy asked.

"I have to figure out what to do with your dress." I say.
"And you need a new set of clothes. But it's pouring rain outside and I don't want to go shopping at this hour."

Lucy sat on the couch and finally I got an idea. "Wait."

I hit the wall and out comes a secret console with a variety of different buttons.

Lucy sat up in amazement as I pressed a green button.

Then a secret door appears.

"Alright. Follow me."

As we walked through the door, Lucy asked, "How did you do that?"

I smile. "A guy's gotta have his secrets."

Lucy's POV
I was actually forgetting all that had happened between me and Flames in a matter of time. And when I was finally out of my wet dress and into dry clothes, I relaxed a bit.

Flames came back in.

"Well, we better get some rest." he said.

"Right..."

Flames turned to leave but I stopped him.

"Flames?"

"Yes?"

I was silent for a while.
"I'm sorry for getting so angry at you. Forgive and forget?"

Flames smiled and nodded.
"Forgive and forget."

I smiled back then I fell into a deep sleep.
