Lucy's POV
I saw Flames getting beat up and I got out of the Mustang.
"Flames?"

"Star!" Flames shouted. "Get back!"

But I ignored him and soon one of Fuzzy's men started shooting bullets at me from pistols.

I ducked down low behind the Mustang.

I swear I heard myself scream.

The firing suddenly stopped and I peeked my head up.

They were still there.

Why isn't Flames helping me? Oh, wait, he's in trouble!

Suddenly I hear more gunfire.
I ducked low again.

But Flames had finally decided to join in. He punched Will and threw hin into the others. They all fell like bowling pins.

"Argh!" Flames groaned from all the punches he received.

"Star, on the bottom of my Mustang, there's a secret weaponry storage!"

He got pinned by more men.

"What?" I shout for we were at least a yard apart from each other.

"Ugh! Look underneath the Mustang! There's a hidden compartment of weapons. Choose one and help me out here!!"

I look under the Mustang. Sure enough, there was a secret door. I pull it down and out comes weapons like a frying pan, bow and arrows, blasters, a fan (which seemed to be of metal), a few boomerangs, and... perfume?

"Oh... I hope this works!" I mutter as I picked a few boomerangs and threw them at the men.

Thankfully my aim was accurate and they were dealt with in a matter of seconds.

Flames jumped up and started running to me.

I got in the driver's seat and then I heard a gunshot.

I didn't know where it came from.
Then I see a man fall unconscious.

But I also saw Flames limping his way to the Mustang, clutching his right shoulder.

He tumbled into the passenger's seat from exhaustion.

"Flames!" I exclaim. "You alright? You're injured!"

His left hand was covered in red and blood was oozing out from the wound on his right shoulder.

"Gah! I'm fine!" he said.
"You alright?"

"Yeah. But you need help! Come on, I'll drive us somewhere where they won't expect to find us."

"OK. But you don't have to do this, Lucy." he said.

"It's OK. Besides, you need it."
So I drove off to a place I knew very well.

Flames's POV
It hurt so much! And I had no idea where Lucy was taking us both.

When I woke up from a little nap, I noticed that it was pitch black and we were in a little cavern or something.

I flinch when I heard the door open. But it was only Lucy.

"OK." she said. "Come on, I'll help you out."

So I nodded and she put my good arm around her neck. Then she helped me out of the Mustang.

We both sat on the hard floor.

"Alright, I need you to take your shirt off."

I didn't want to argue so I did just that. My right shoulder still ached in pain.

I saw Lucy take out a bandage wrap. And she tore a section off of it.

"Where are we?" I ask.

"This is one of my hiding spots. It's concealed and out of sight. Now, let me see that wound."

I shrug and allowed Lucy to tend to my injury.

I gritted my teeth as she carefully took the bullet out and wrapped my wound with the bandage.

"There," she said. "All done."

I smiled. "Thanks Lucy."

Lucy smiled back. "No problem."

Complete silence fell above us; we also fell into some sort of trance.
Butterflies filled my stomach as Lucy gave me a kiss on the cheek.

I just sat there in bewilderment and confusion. Yet at the same time I was both awestruck and... blushing, for I felt my cheeks grow warm and I bet if I looked through a mirror I would see a redness on them.

"Um, I'm sorry, Flames..." Lucy said.

"That's OK..." I said. Although I was unsure on what else I could've, or should've said.

Lucy got up and I could tell that she was a bit blue.

"Lucy."

She stopped and turned to face me.
"Yes, Flames?"

"I know... I know how hard it is to be away from home for so long..." I began, praying that I wouldn't make Lucy cry.
"But I assure you from the bottom of my heart, we'll defeat Fuzzy Guy and you'll be back home safely."

Lucy smiled. "Thanks Flames. I appreciate that."

I smile.

Then she walked off into another room, that I assumed was her "bedroom" if you catch my drift.

Then I, myself, found a spot on the floor, grabbed a blanket, and fell asleep.
