Fuzzy's POV
I was smiling in spite of myself.
Suddenly I hear footsteps approach.

"Um, sir."

I turned around to see Boris there.

"We have her."

"Who?" I ask.

"The girl."

I smirk.
"Good. Bring her here."

Boris nodded and moments later he brought Star Swirl to her knees in front of me.

"You won't get away with this, Fuzzy Guy." she said.
"Flames will stop you!"

I laughed maniacally.
"Hahahaha!!! Don't rely on your boyfriend too much!"

"He is not my boyfriend!"
Star says.

"So you don't like him?" I ask.

"No!"

I grin.
"Not even a little...?"

Star faltered. "Well, I mean... I guess he's kind of... cute."

"I knew it. You're in love with Flames Pond!" I shout.

"I am not! Besides, he probably doesn't care about me that much. Maybe as a friend, but nothing more!"

"Maybe you're right... But you don't know that."

"And you do?"

That tripped me up.
I opened my mouth to speak but I couldn't say anything.

"Just... er, stop talking!" I managed to say. "And let's see who you really are."

That was when I lunged forward and pulled off the mask from Star's face.

After that, I was stunned.

It was the royal Princess herself!

Lucy's POV
"Well fluff my feathers!" Fuzzy exclaimed. "It's the Princess!"

"No, you don't say..." I said, unenthusiastically.

"I do say!" Fuzzy said. "I never expected to see you again. I thought you were dead! Or did I..."

"Where's Flames, Fuzzy!" I demand, changing the subject.

"That is none of your business. But I will say this..."

Fuzzy leaned in to whisper into my ear.

"He's... dead."

"Your lying!" I said, teeth clenched.

"How do you know? Besides, I did make him drop ten feet from the ground. Flames Pond is, and I quote, dead."

I said nothing.
What if Fuzzy was right?

Tears started to sting my eyes.
"No..."

I collapsed on the hard cement floor. It was cold.
Like the air around me.

"Boris," I heard Fuzzy say.
"Take our new prisoner to the dungeon. I will be back shortly. There's just some... business I have to attend to."

And that was when I was taken away as a prisoner.
