Confessions (Part 3)

After the movie had ended, Adrien decided to walk Marinette back to her house. The two stood outside of Tom & Sabine Boulangerie Patisserie almost in complete silence. Marinette was awkwardly playing with her thumbs, whereas Adrien had one hand in his pocket and was nervously scratching the back of his head with the other. Adrien broke the silence, "Hey, I'm really glad that you decided to go with me, Mari."

Marinette's cheeks turned to a rosy shade of pink. "Yeah, me too. I had so much fun! Um, maybe we can do this again sometime?" She avoided eye contact with the boy. "I'll see you at school." Marinette leaned over and kissed Adrien on the cheek, causing both of the teens to noticeably blush. Realizing what she had just done, Marinette rushed inside the bakery, slamming the door behind her. What in the world was she thinking? Plus, slamming the door in his face!? Marinette sighed, knowing that there was nothing she could do about it now. She hoped so desperately that he would just forget everything that had happened in the past few minutes. Marinette dreadfully headed for the stairs to her bedroom. When she opened the hatch door, her room was occupied by a visitor.

Chat Noir sat on the end of Mari's bed, smiling sheepishly, "So, how'd your date go, Princess?" He gestured for her to sit by him by patting a spot on the bed next to him.

Marinette rolled her eyes but jumped onto the bed, landing right next to Chat. She sat up to shove him gently, "I can't believe you actually told Adrien about the scarf!"

"It got you a date with him, didn't it?" Chat winked playfully, "Now, tell me all about it."
