Meeting up where the water
Barely rushed over the tops of rocks
The waters so blue
Weren't even as deep as your eyes
Maybe it was the way the sun shined
That made my day so bright
Or maybe but was just your presence
That gave this day a little more light
Tragedy struck and my best friend
Suddenly left the Earth
The galaxy
The entire universe
The deep blue waters took you
The ones that were as beautiful
As your deep blue eyes
Now the waters don't look so blue
The suddenly turned into a black Venom
I never look at the waters the same
It takes me back to the day we met
Too painful of memories
Meet me by the river
We're the words that always left your lips
Wanting to make more memories
By the trees where we used to kid
I met you by the river
Too many days without you has come and gone
I'm joining you in the river
With my best friend is where I belong
