Chapter 10 - Moves Were Made

2 hours later and the house is completely clean! I couldn't have done it without the girls. Everyone we invited is coming so I am super excited! Kawaii~Chan made lots of sweets, but she made some pasta and salad. Aph and I decided to make some rib-eye steak and mash potatoes (POTATOES!!!). When it became 5, Aph, Kawaii~Chan, and Katelyn went home to get change, since we all looked like we were hit by a wave of trash. I dash up stairs and put on my casual outfit of (C/O) (choose a dress please!). As I finish braiding my hair, the doorbell rings.
I scurry downstairs to see Zane standing at the door. "Hey (Y/N). Thanks for inviting me, I guess." he mumbles. "Well Zane, you are my friend! Why wouldn't I invite you?" I laugh. He seems happy that I said that and walks over to the table,of food. "IS THAT VANILLA CUPCAKES WITH PINK FROSTING AND LOADS OF SPRINKLY GOODNESS!?!??!?!" he screams. "It is! Kawaii~Chan worked hard to make them. Do you like them too?" I ask. "OMG I LOVE THESE!" He yells in excitement, which is quickly muffled by the cupcake in his mouth. I giggle at the sight of this man, all gloomy and solitary, stuffing a cupcake in his mouth with his mouth covered in pink frosting. "Woh oo ookin at?" He says with his mouth full. I smirk, "You doofus, I'm laughing at you!" We laugh and he reaches for another cupcake. "Wait! You still have frosting on your face. Lemme help you." I say walking up to Zane. I scoop the frosting off his face with my pointer finger. I didn't realize how close I was to Zane until I looked up and we were really close. "Ummm, Zane?" I say nervously. He doesn't speak. I can tell he is blushing, but tries to hide it. Embarrassed, I quickly pull away from Zane. "Sorry bout that..." I say awkwardly. "I-It's fine." He says. An awkward silence fills the room.
Ding-Dong.
Thank goodness! Escaping from the room with Zane in it, I go and open the door. "Heeyyy Baby!" Travis smirks. Smack. "Oowwww." He whines, now face first on the ground. "Ugh, Travis, will you ever learn?" Dante scolds. "Nope, besides, I have a lovely view of (Y/N)'s panties." Punch. Punch. Punch. (Oh baby a triple!) I punch Travis right after Garroth and Laurence punch him square in the jaw. "Sigh, anyways, welcome to the party guys! Come on in!" I say gesturing inside. "Hello baby brother!" Garroth teases when he sees Zane. "Garroth! Don't call me that!" Zane snaps back. "Oooo! The food looks amazing (Y/N)!" Laurence comments. "I had some help from a few girlfriends." I smirk. One by one, everyone arrives. We all grab our food and sit down on my couch. We watch the movie Echo. After the movie is done, we decide to hang out and play spin the bottle. "M'lady (Y/N), as host, you shall go first." Dante jokes. "Do I have to?" I complain. "YES! Kawaii~Chan hopes you land on Garroth~Kun or Laurence~Kun so Kawaii~Chan can take pictures!" She squeals in excitement. I spin the bottle and watch it go in circles until it finally stops. On Laurence. Of course. "EEEE!" Kawaii~Chan screams and pulls out her phone. I peck his cheek and pull back blushing. I look at Laurence to see he is blushing as well. Why is he blushing? Laurence never blushes. Oh well. We play spin the bottle for about 20 more minutes until we get bored. We decide to eat our dessert and talk amongst our selves.
I go out onto my porch in my backyard and look at the stars overhead. "Beautiful, aren't they?" A voice says behind me.

Laurence's POV:
I see (Y/N) outside looking at the stars. I decide to confront her. "Beautiful, aren't they?" I ask her. She whips around and sees me. "Yeah, they are." She sighs. "Not as beautiful as you though." I say. She turns crimson red and looks up again. "I-It's a full moon tonight." She stammers, changing the subject. "Yeah, I always loved the sight of a full moon." I say. I wrap my arm around her shoulders and pull her closer to me. She doesn't resist and rests her head on my chest. "(Y/N), I love you." I whisper. "I-I love you too, Laurence." She says. "You mean it?" I ask. "Every word." She responds. I finally knows she loves me and I make my move. "(Y/N), will you be my girlfriend?" I ask.

"Yes. Yes I will Laurence."

So kawaii! I love writing this book! Sorry that there wasn't an upload yesterday. I was tired and had a lot of hw. :\ But, I will make it up to you by posting Two and Worlds later today! Hope you enjoyed this chapter and stay tuned for the next one!
