Chapter 13 - Shattered

Laurence's POV:
I look back at Ivy and she smiles, seeming to tease me about my loss. I look at that smile and instantly realize what I have done. I lost my girlfriend. I broke her heart and stomped on the pieces, by kissing a girl who used to be my girlfriend. Now I remember, I moved away because of Ivy. She was a spoiled brat who laughed at others' pain. A girl who never liked me for me, only my looks. I push her away and yell, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!?!?" Everyone in the store looks at us. "A little late reaction Laur." She smirks. "This isn't funny! You made me lose my girlfriend!" "I AM your girlfriend!" "I CAME HERE TO ESCAPE YOU!" I scream at her. She looked sad, but then sneered, "Your loss!" "Good riddance! Now leave! Go somewhere else!" "Fine, I have a whole lot of money anyways so I can just move again." she says storming out of the store. I dash out of the store and begin my search for (Y/N). Where could she be? I ran around the mall and I even went back to the car, but no luck. Then, I saw Aphmau, Katelyn, and Kawaii~Chan coming out of a Italian restaurant carrying takeout food. They see me running and call me over. "Hey Laurence! Aren't you supposed to be with (Y/N)?" Aphmau asks. "Yeah...well..." I say before explaining to them what happened.
"Laurence~Kun! How dare you!" Kawaii~Chan yells at me. "She must be crying and hurt." says Aphmau sadly. "Honestly, if that were me, I would just walk home." Katelyn says. "Home. That's right! She probably went back to her house! Thank you!" I say, sprinting back to my car.
I pull into her driveway and jump out of the car. I hurry to her door and knock. "(Y/N)?" "GO AWAY!" she screams, sorrow fills each word. "Please, (Y/N), let me explain." I plead. "WHY WOULD I WANT TO TALK TO YOU!!!" She screams. I hear her sob. "Leave me alone Laurence. It hurts to hear you."
I trudge back to my car trying to hold back tears. It all happened so fast. We were having an amazing date, then I completely ignored her for some brat I used to date. It is my fault she is like this. I get into my car and drive home. Tears blurr my vision as I arrive at my house. I burst into tears as soon as I parked. Why am I such a fool!

~5 days later~

Garroth's POV:
Laurence hasn't said a word since his date with (Y/N). He barely eats and he has bags under his swollen eyes. We tried to figure it out, until Aphmau texted us the news the day after.

Garroth-Laurence has been acting weird ever since his date with (Y/N), any clue y?

Aph-We saw him at the mall and he explained to us that he saw his old girlfriend at the mall and ignored (Y/N), then, he kissed Ivy and (Y/N) saw.

Garroth-That's terrible

Aph-Yeh, ikr, we will try to help (Y/N), u guys take care of Laurence

For the past 3 days, we have been trying to comfort Laurence, but to no avail. Aphmau and the girls had no such luck either. (Y/N) hadn't left her house at all and wouldn't let anyone in either. She shut herself out from the rest of the world. Today, we decided to change places. Travis, Dante, and I were gonna try coaxing (Y/N) out of her house while Aph, Kawaii~Chan, and Katelyn tried to reach Laurence. Our hopes are that the change of people might help, but we aren't expecting much. Sigh,oh well, worth a shot right?
We walk over to (Y/N)'s house and knock. "Hello? (Y/N)?" No reply, just sniffles. "Hey, beautiful, I can't see your face with this door in the way. Could you open it?" Travis says jokingly. We shoot him death glares and he just shrugs. "Worth a shot." He says. "(Y/N), please open up, we want to help you." Dante pleads. "Go away!" She cries. We spend the next half hour trying to coax her to come out of the house, but failed. Travis and Dante decided to go home, but I wasn't giving up.
I had a plan.
I ran back home and grabbed a ladder. "What's with the ladder?" Katelyn asks as she and Kawaii~Chan walk into the room. "I am trying to get (Y/N) out of her house, and it involves a ladder. By the way, and luck with Laurence?" "Sadly, not quite," Aphmau says appearing behind Katelyn, "He keeps murmuring to himself, I'm such an idiot. Or This was all my fault." "Well, gotta run!" I say hustling back to (Y/N)'s house.
