Chapter 23 - Freedom

(Y/N)'s POV:
A few hours after arriving home and I am still admiring my functioning legs. I couldn't help it! They were beautiful without the casts. I think I have gone insane, but I'm to happy to care. After getting myself a drink, I plop down on my couch and turn on some anime. I am interrupted 1 episode later by a text.

Aph-Heyyy guess what?!?!!
(Y/N)-wut?
Aph-we going on a trip!
(Y/N)-srsly??!!??! Why? when?
Aph-We leave in 2 days, its for celebration of you gettin better!
(Y/N)-for me??!?! wow, where we goin?
Aph-possibly florida, universal studios...
(Y/N)REALLY?!?!? OMI!!!

Wow, I can't believe it. Universal Studios! Florida! 2 days! I need to pack my clothes, unnerwear, swimsuits, coverups, sunscreen, pjs, toys, phone... Ding-dong!
I immediately snap out of my thoughts and go over to the door. I open it to see Garroth standing there with his hands in his pockets. "H-hey! (Y-Y/N)!" he stutters. "Hello there Stutter King. *smirks* What can I do for you?" I say to him. "I-I was j-just w-wondering if you would like to go on a d...d....d-date? I mean, hang out for a bit?" Garroth is really cute when he's nervous. Wait...stop! Hold up. I thought I wouldn't fall in love or get involved in it until I was ready...Am I ready? "Hello? (Y/N)?" Garroth looks at me curiously. "Oh, yeah right. Errr, sure! I have a hour or two to spare, then I have to clean and pack for the trip." I answer. "Cool! Let's go!" I turn around and stroll back inside to grab my wallet and phone when Garroth steps in and stops me. "You won't be needing this or this," he says, placing his hands on top of mine and pushing them gently back down onto the counter. "Uhh, okay?" I say confused. I follow him out the door and lock it behind me. I turn around to see Garroth right behind me staring into my (E/C) eyes. He reaches for my hand and pulls me towards his car. He has been acting very weird today...from super shy to overconfident...huh. Something rustles the bush in the front of my house putting me on edge. Everything is so strange right now, first Garroth now this?!?! "Something wrong my jewel?" he asks me, still holding my hand. "Ummm, you are acting very weird Garroth. Whatever is happening, stop it." I demand. He drops my hand and begins to drive.
We arrive at a nearby restraunt called Castor's Chicken's Favorites. "Why hello there humans! Welcome to Castor's Chicken's Favorites! How many?" "Table for 2 please," Garroth asks simply. "Right this way!" the waiter, clerk, chicken, runs off like a chicken with it's head cut off towards I guess what was our table. "After you m'lady," Garroth bows and allows me to pass. "Thanks? By the way, that joke is Dante's," I say to him. I swear he is scowling, but I pay him no mind. What is up with him today? I reach to text Aph about this when I remember Garroth stopped me from grabbing my phone. Darn!
I barely got through the dinner, Garroth kept flirting with me and made me uncomfortable. "I need to go to the bathroom. Excuse me," I say quickly. I dash to the bathroom and lock myself in. I turn into a falcon and speed home. I grab my phone and text Garroth.
(Y/N)-Garroth, I don't know what's up with you today, but snap out of it! You made me extremely uncomfortable and I didn't appreciate it. Btw, no need to take me home, I'm already there.

Garroth's POV:
I wake up in my car in front of a hideous restraurant. I hear my phone buzzing and I grab it to see (Y/N)'s text. I'm confused beyond belief, questions pile up in my mind. How did I get here? Why is (Y/N) mad at me? What is this place? What happened? What have I done?
I race over to (Y/N)'s place and knock on her door. She opens it a crack and peeks up at me. "(Y/N), I don't know what happened, and I don't know what I've done, but I'm truly sorry. I must've been under a curse or something..." I trail off. (Y/N)'s gaze is diverted from me and is looking at something behind me. I see a shadow appear behind me.
"Sigh, and it was just getting good too. Shame that my potion ran out before the kiss. Tsk tsk."

I won't spoil this person for you quite yet, but you might have an idea already! Also, apologies for not posting! I have been super busy with my life and I just couldn't find the time for writing!
