Chapter 29 - Day 3 ~ Understanding

(Y/N)'s POV:
I woke up on Aaron's bed. Last thing I remembered is that I fell asleep on the ferry back home. Aaron took me home...wait...the guys! Oh Irene, what will they think?!?!? I bolt upright and stare at everyone around me, talking to one another. "Hey! (Y/N)!" Aph cheered. She got everyone's attention and soon they were all staring at me. Uncomfortably, I shifted in my position on the bed. "Sorry about yesterday guys..." I begin, "I just feel pressured to love one of you. I thought that it would just be easier if I disappeared. Of course, I was wrong and I am so so so sorry!"
To my surprise, no one seems angry with me or disappointed. "No, (Y/N), we're sorry," Laurence says, seeming upset with himself. "Sorry we didn't consider your feelings first," Garroth says, keeping his head down in shame. All the guys nod their head in agreement and mumble, "Yeah," or "You're right..."
They stood like that for a minute before I decided enough was enough. "TAG!" I yell, jumping out of bed and tapping Dante on the shoulder. "HEY!" he says before tagging Laurence. Soon enough, everyone is running from Garroth who is now "it".
When Umiko was it, she tackled me and then started her famous "tickle torture". I giggled so hard I could hardly breathe. Finally, Alice interrupted us by yelling at Umiko, "You're gonna kill her! Stop!" By this time, everyone is laughing or giggling like we're crazy. I come up behind Garroth and Laurence and put my arms on their shoulders, letting myself hang in between them. "C'mon guys! Let's just enjoy this vacation as friends!" I exclaim and everyone cheers in agreement.

About 30 minutes later, everyone is in bathing suits and has all their beach stuff. We decided that today, we would go to a nearby beach and spend the rest of the day there. A van drove us over there and we joked the entire drive. Everyone had smiles on their faces that were there to stay, all but Zane who would rather go on more rides.
The beach was gorgeous! The sand was silky smooth and the ocean was crystal clear! I hadn't seen anything like it before. Luckily, the hotel provided some umbrellas that we could use so we wouldn't roast in the burning sun. We set up all our towels and umbrellas quickly, slapped on some sunscreen, then raced to the water. The waves were a decent size, big enough so that we would have to jump over them or get submerge beneath them. We started up a game of who-could-last-the-longest-without-being-pushed-over.

20 minutes later and Aaron and I were battling for the title. Wave after wave kept coming and we would hop over each and every one of them. Then, a gigantic wave came and almost knocked me out. I looked over at Aaron to see he has fallen over. Everyone else was cheering my name, but I didn't buy it. From my perspective, it looked like he jumped back, as if to lose on purpose. I wade over to him and extend a hand. He gladly takes it and heaves himself to his feet. I whisper to him, "Did you let me win?"
As emotionless as Aaron can seem, his eyes deceived him, giving himself away. "Why?" I ask. He just shakes my hand and says, "Let's get ready for the next round." He leaves me there staring at him confused and joins the others. Then, it all clicks.
Aaron, Aaron, Aaron...you cheeky bastard. I think to myself. To everyone, it seems like I won, fair and square. To me, winning was just Aaron's subtle of flirting with me. I giggle quietly to myself and hurry to join the others.
