Chapter 22 - You...

(Y/N)'s POV:
"Ivy? What. Are. You. Doing. Here?" Laurence asks furiously. I wouldn't want to be Ivy right now... "Oh Laur. I wanted to see you again," she purred, "And if you don't want me, I have plenty more to choose from." She indictates to all the guys. "You..." she hisses at me, "You stole my Laurence from me! How dare you!" She slowly starts to approach me. "I bet Laurence never liked you to begin with. Laurence would never fall for an idiot like you. Besides, I bet no one even cars about you." "At least I'm not some sour lemonade that everyone thinks they like, but learn to hate. Also, that lemonade was dumped by everyone who had a sip," I snarl back at her. "Buuurn," I hear Travis and Dante whisper. "HAH! Look who's talking. You probably ne-" "QUIT IT IVY!!!" Laurence suddenly buts in. "I was never yours, I never really liked you. Ever. You hurt the ones I care about. (Y/N) is right, once I had a taste of you, I wanted to spit you right back out and stomp on you. There is no point in sticking around aymore. Just, LEAVE!" I could see Ivy backing away slowly. "Well...I....Ummm..." she says nervously, trying to climb back out of the hole she dug herself. What she does next surprises us all.

One moment, Ivy was standing in the middle of us, terrified. The next, she is charging at me full speed screaming, "I'LL KILL YOU!!!" I see that she has turned into her Jury of Nine form, sword in hand. I don't know what came over me. I instantly felt myself turn and float out of my seat. Just as Ivy is about to strike me down, I meet her blade with one of my own.
My Angel Blade.
A white sword with golden hilt with patterns etched into it is in my grasp. I strike back at her and send her flying, crashing into the Sees Candies store. Panting, I turn around to see the stunned look on everyone's faces. My slim, short dress is pretty much attached to me and my halo is wrapped around my head. Massive, elegant feathered wings extend from my back as I hover in the air. My golden bow and arrows are slung across my back, making me look like a warrior angel. The guys look at me as if I'm a goddess and the girls seem mesmerized by my looks. Can't blame them honestly ;).

~Few Hours Later~

Ugh. The hospital. I have started to hate this place, a lot. of course, everyone is scattered around the room anxiously awaiting the doctor's report. After I transformed back from my angelic self, I fainted, right there and then. I awoke a hour ago. The doctors instantly began to run tests to see if I was okay. I saw Laurence in the corner, almost crying. If I was allowed to walk, I would go straight to him and comfort him. Poor guy, he probably still feels bad about bringing Ivy into my life. I wander around my thoughts when I am interupted by the sound of my door swinging shut. "Well, Mrs. (L/N), it seems you have recovered fully. Our belief is that as a magic user, your healing process has been sped up tremendously compared to the average human. Your angel form apparently completely restored your health, you merely fainted from exhaustion." From everywhere in the room, sighs of relief and gasps of astonishment were heard. I held my breath, waiting for the signal. "You are free to go." "YEEEAAAAHHHH!!!" I say, practically leaping from my bed. "Don't hurt yourself!" I hear Dante yell from across the room. Pffft, yeah right. I landed perfectly on both my feet and roamed around, testing out my legs. I was very pleased that I didn't crumble to the ground. When I thought life hadn't gotten any better, my lawyer walked in. "Excuse me Mrs. (L/N)?" Ross said (xD This lawyer is pretty rossome!)"I would like to inform you that the woman, Ivy, has been found guilty of attacking you and harrassing you and your friends. She has been placed under a restraint order and will not be seeing you ever again." I looked at him and tried not to celebrate to loud. "Thank you!"

After another hour of signing papers, running tests, yadayadayada, we are allowed to leave the hospital. I literally sprint out the door and cry out, "FINALLY!" Everyone else was following me out and laughing. "Glad your happy babe." Travis smirks. I wasn't in the mood to hit Travis, so thankfully Katelyn got him for me. I ran up to Laurence and kissed him. He looked shocked when I pulled away. "I'm so happy! Laurence, don't blame yourself for what has happened. Accidents happen, can we just move past that now?" Slowly, a huge grin spreads across his face and he says, "Of course!" I look back at the guys and see them growling. "Heh, everything is back to normal!" Aph says giggling and I laugh right along with her. If this were a video game, then I just completed the hardest challenge. Acheivement Unlocked!
