"Alice. Get your lazy ass up. Liam made us waffles for breakfast." Miles says shaking me awake.
My eyes shoot open and I run out of my room and into the kitchen.
I LOVE waffles.
I chomp down on them in less than 3 minutes.
"How was your sleep?" Liam asks me asks me walking into the kitchen.
"Fast."
"Well it takes about 10 hours to get to London, so you can sleep on the plane." He says.
After I finish putting the paper plate, knife, and fork in the bin, I quickly get dressed.
I pack some books and a notepad and pen.
I quickly go to the toilet.
"Alice! Are you ready? We're leaving!" Mum shouts.
"Yeah! Coming!" I say.
I rush downstairs and get into the car.
Liam drives off.
"Shit!" I say.
"Language." My mum says.
"I forgot my laptop," I say.
"Seriously Alice?!" Miles yells.
"Lucky we still have enough time," Liam says.
He drives back to the house.
I run up the stairs and see my baby on my bed.
Oh and my headphones.
Whoops.
I run back in the car and Liam drives off again.

"Flight 389 is now ready for boarding. Miami to London is now ready. Please make your way to Gate 14." A female voice says over the speakers of the airport.
We all walk to Gate 14.
The man in front of the gate scans our tickets.
He was cute.
Once we get on the plane, we find our seats.
Mum and Liam are at the front of the plane and Miles and I are at the back.
It's three seats each row.
I sit on the window side and Miles is next to me.
There is a spare seat next to him.
A young guy sits next to him.
A REALLY cute guy.
"Hi, I'm Toby." The boy says to Miles in an English accent.
"Hey, I'm Miles. This is my sister Alice." Miles says.
"Hey," I say to him.
He smiles.
"So are you taking a trip to London?" Toby asks.
"Um, no. Actually, we are moving there. Our stepdad got a job there." Miles says.
"Oh, cool," Toby says.
The plane takes off in a matter of seconds.
I hold Miles's hand because I hate taking off on a plane.
When we are in the air, I let go.
A lady says that we are allowed to take our electronics out.
I take my laptop out and watch some Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
I put my earphones in.
I look out the window.
I'm going to miss this city.
London will be alright I guess.
Miles goes to the toilet.
I look over at Toby and he's already looking at me.
I smile.
He winks.
