What the hell is going on?

Why shouldn't I have moved to this town?

It's not like I had a choice.

"Alice, come with me. I'll explain everything. Thea, go talk to Asher." Owen says.

I get up from the window seat still confused.

Owen and I walk down the corridor and into a small classroom.

"I know you're probably really confused right now." Owen says chuckling a bit.

"Yeah, a little bit." I say laughing.

"It's kind of complicated. So that guy named Dennis who came to your house is actually my brother. There are two major gangs in West London. The Night Walkers and The Shadows. Dennis leads the The Night Walkers and Asher leads The Shadows. The reason that I don't lead them is because I have school and everything so it's just too much. Anyway, we're called The Shadows because know, we basically live in the shadows. No one really knows who is in our gang because we make sure to be seen only when we want to. You with me so far?"

"Yep." I say nodding my head.

"Good. Thea and I were once in The Night Walkers because we were born into it. My parents and Thea's parents were both co-leading the gang. But Thea's parents died when Thea was 7 so my family took her in. Thea and I always felt like we didn't belong in that gang. We wanted to help people instead of hurt them. Dennis, however, was the exact opposite. He loved the feeling of hurting people and didn't care. Dennis liked Thea when she was living with us. He was obsessed with her. But Thea didn't like him back. And that made him mad. One day they were fighting and Dennis hit her by 'accident'. Thea and I had been thinking of leaving for a while. So we did. We packed up our bags and got the hell out of there. We later found out that my parents killed Thea's parents in order to be in charge. We hated and still hate them for that. So Dennis took over the gang and ever since then, he's been trying to hurt us and everyone around us."

I nod my head so he continues.

"The gang has changed since then. Dennis leads most of it with a little help from my father sometimes. Most of the people in go to this school which sucks. Ryan is in it. That's why he kissed you, to get me mad. Because when I get mad, I get mad. Asher was one of my friends for a little while before we started The Shadows. Then when Thea and I left, he took us in. This was about 3 years ago when we were both 15."

"So do you guys kill or hurt anyone?" I ask.

"Well, we don't particularly like hurting people. But sometimes that's the only option. We've never really killed anyone because we think that that's not right. But a gang is gang and sometimes the only thing that you can do is kill. In 3 years only 5 people have been killed because we did it, but Dennis kills about 5 in one day. I know killing 5 people is a lot but they were bad people. They weren't innocent.
We all live together. Our gang is our family. Everyone knows everyone and everything there is to know. Do you wanna come at meet everyone? If that's not too much?"

"Sure." I say smiling.

This is the most exciting thing that's happened in my life for a while.

"Okay. Good. I'll call Thea and tell her to go get our stuff." Owen says getting out his phone.

He calls Thea while I quickly text my mum that I'll be home late.

We get into Owens car and drive off.

Owen is 18 and already has his licence.

"So there's about 20-25 people living in the house so it's a little messy." Owen says laughing.

"Don't worry, I live with an older brother. He's basically 20 people in one." I say also laughing.

"So there's Chris, Harry, Shawn, Asher, Axel, Liam, Aaron, Jordan, Able, Sam, Phoenix, Blake, Dean, Sawyer, Eric, Luke, Cole, Kyle, Finn, Rowan, Jason and finally me. And sometimes Bennett. Plus there's Thea and Maple but they're the only girls." He says.

"Okay cool. So who who goes to the school?" I ask.

"Jordan, Able, Sam, Phoenix, Sawyer, Luke, Kyle, Finn, Rowen, Shawn and Thea." He says.

"Is it bad that I don't know who they are?" I ask.

"No, don't worry about it. You've only just moved here. It's not like you need to know everyone. Plus, they'll tell you who they are so its okay." Owen says laughing a bit.

I really like it when he laughs.

He drives for about 5 more minutes and then he's at the place that I was before when I may or may not have stalked him...

"Everyone is home today but they're still at school so when they come home, they will all come and form a group around you but don't worry, they're harmless." Owen says getting out the car.

"Good to know." I say getting out the car as well.

It's a nice day today so I really wanna get out of this school uniform.

Owen opens the door for me and I am instantly greeted by the smell of vanilla.

The outside of the house looks just any normal house, but when you get inside its not.

There is a lot of room to walk freely around the house which is good because there's like 25 people living in one house.

"Owen!" A man says walking over to us. "And girl."

"I'm Alice." I say laughing.

"Beautiful name for a beautiful girl." He compliments.

"Ash, are you flirting with this young girl? You're supposed to be MY husband." A lady says walking up next to him.

She's the same pregnant girl I saw waddling down the street when I was stalking Owen.

"I'm not flirting, I'm complimenting. There's a difference Maple." The guy, Ash, says putting an arm around her.

"Anyway, Alice this is Asher and Maple. They are the bosses of the house and the gang." Owen says.

"Hey. You have a really beautiful home." I say.

"Thank you sweetie. But you should see it when everyone is home, it looks like hell." Maple says laughing.

I look down at her big belly and wonder how far along she is.

"I'm 8 months pregnant. 9 months in a couple of days. I'm ready to pop him out already." She says following my gaze.

"Sorry Alice but I need to talk to Owen for a sec. " Asher says.

"No, it's fine." I say smiling.

Owen and Asher both walk into another room.

"I'm so glad that there's another girl in this house. Instead of it being just a house, it feels like a man cave. There's only 2 girls living in this house and now there's another boy entering it." Maple says laughing.

"What's his name going to be?" I ask.

"James Cameron Prescott." She says touching her belly.

"That's a lovely name." I say.

"So how do you like England so far?" She asks waddling into the kitchen.

"It's pretty good. It's been a change." I say sitting down on a chair.

"Well if you ever need a tour guide, I'm free."

"I'll keep that in mind."

My phone dings and it's Dennis?

How did he get my number?

And why is he in my contacts?

Dennis- If you don't want me as an enemy, I would get out of that house.

Me- You're already my enemy.

Asshole.
