(A/N) I have absolutely no idea who the guy in the picture is, it's how I see Kayden when I try to think of his style etc. In my mind, he has blue eyes underneath the sunglasses.

*Loki's POV*
I looked down at the streets of New York. The Chitauri were destroying quite a big part of the city, spreading death and demolition everywhere they went. Soon this city would be mine, and after that, the rest of Midgard. There was nothing the Avengers could do.

"Loki! Turn off the Tesseract or I'll destroy it!" "Amazing.. Thor is here.." I thought to myself.
"You can't! There is only the war" "so be it"
I jumped down at Thor, swinging the scepter in his direction. After a while he blocked my blow and hold my arms. "Look at this! Look at this madness. Do you think this would end with your rule?" I looked around. "It's too late to stop it" "we can. Together"
"Pathetic" I thought.
I looked at him and stabbed a knife in his side, causing him to let me go. "Sentiment."

I called one of the Chitauri towards to Tower, and jumped on the back of the vehicle. Flying across the city, I let out my anger and shot at everything that got in my way. I could see Iron Man, drawing the attention of the, honestly repulsive, enormous creature, luring it towards the other Avengers. The Hulk smashed into it, giving Iron Man the opportunity to shoot missiles at what seems to be a weak spot apparently. Falling down, the creature died. "Send the rest."

*Kayden's POV*
I was getting restless, being inside all the time. I went outside, to see if there was anyone I should help. I walked towards the end of the street and looking to my left, I could see that huge thing falling down, trapping a lot of people underneath it. I ran towards it, dodging shots, avoiding the.. Well.. Aliens.

When I made it to the scene, I tried to find as many survivors as I could. I noticed a little boy who's leg was stuck. He was crying, clearly because of the shock and the pain. "Hey kiddo. Try to calm down a bit okay, I'm gonna try to free your leg." He nodded, and tried to control his breathing which he was failing at honestly. "Okay this could hurt a bit" I told him, right before I pulled his leg from underneath the creature. He let out a scream, and I noticed that his leg was broken. "Come on, we gotta get you of the streets."

I lifted the kid, and carried him to a subway station, occasionally having to hide behind cars. Once we got to the subway, he yelled for his mom. A woman came running towards us, crying out her son's name. "Joshua are you okay? I thought you had died" I put the kid down, trying to place him on a bench as comfortable as possible and started looking around for a medic. I soon found one, and took him to Joshua. His mother suddenly hugged me, thanking me a billion times for saving her son. "It's alright.. It seemed like the right thing to do."
She gave me a quick peck on the cheek. "You're a hero. I can't thank you enough." I smiled at her before I went back outside, to try and get as many people of the streets as I could, but most of them just kept running. I suppose they were panicking too much to think logically.

I turned around and saw the men in green coming in my direction, still shooting at everything he saw. I tried to hide behind a bus, but before I got there a shot hit the ground right behind me. I got blown away and slammed into a car. I looked down and noticed blood dripping down. I desperately tried to look where it came from, and noticed a big cut on my arm.
Some man noticed me sitting there looking at my arm in disbelief. He took off his shirt and tied it around the wound. "That should keep you going for a while. Come on, get on your feet son." He helped me up and we went inside a nearby building. "Thanks.." I murmured. He just gave me a weak smile, but I knew what he meant. Inside, a medic took a look at my arm and stitched the wound. I thanked him, and started walking towards the exit. Right before I stepped outside I heard glass breaking. I turned around, seeing two of the aliens coming inside, trying to gather everyone in the center of the room.
I ran outside, looking around for a new hiding spot. I noticed a man in a blue uniform with the American flag running through the street. "No way... That's Captain America!" I thought to myself.

(A/N) wowow two chapters on one day! I guess I'm just really excited about writing again after such a long time. We'll see if I can get another one done today. If not, it might not be until Sunday.
