*Kayden's POV*
Still amazed by the fact that I saw THE Captain America, I forgot that I was supposed to look for a hiding spot. I snapped back to reality real quick thanks to an explosion half a street away from me. My ears were buzzing, and I could barely hear anything. I looked around, trying to find a subway, or a building which would have a basement. Eventually I found a subway entrance. I looked around a couple of times, checking for a sign of the aliens, and ran towards the entrance when I found the street mostly empty, not counting the few civilians who were running around in total panic.I went inside, just to see the whole station empty. "Why isn't anyone hiding here?" I thought. Soon enough I found out why. At the other end there was a small fire, but it would get bigger within minutes and smoke out the entire station. I went outside again, and noticed that the aliens were shooting at everything that moved in the streets. I tried to hide behind a car and noticed one of the creatures coming my way. I circled around the car, so he wouldn't see me, but forgot to look behind me. I felt a blast on my shoulder and flew straight into the car. I got dizzy because of the impact, and couldn't feel my arm anymore. I fought to stay concious, but the pain was too much. Eventually I gave in, hoping I'd look dead enough to those damned aliens.
(A/N) okay I know this chapter is short but I suppose it's a bit of a filler till I got some time to write more.
