*Kayden's POV*

"Kayden?! Kayden wake up!" I heard a familiar voice say. I groaned, and opened my eyes. I noticed I was sweating, and it felt like I've been crying. "What is it Loki?" I said, trying to sound like nothing had happened, which didn't really work out thanks to my voice. I sounded like I was on the verge of crying again. I didn't feel like talking to him about the nightmare I had. It was the same one as in the first year of living here, but I stopped having them a long time ago.

"You were having a nightmare. Are you alright?" 'oh great.. He knows' I thought to myself. "I'm fine Loki, don't worry about it. Okay?" I could tell he was frustrated about it, but he nodded and pulled me in for a hug. "If you change your mind, tell me. I don't want you to feel bad about it."

I smiled and closed my eyes again, drifting off, this time into a good dream about a future with Loki.

The next morning

*Loki's POV*

I woke up with Kayden half on top of me. It wasn't the most comfortable position, but I didn't intend on waking him up, so I decided to wait till he woke up. After a couple of minutes, he started to move and lifted his head, looking like he completely forgot where he was. "Good morning sleepy" "Hmm.. What time is it?" he asked. I couldn't help but smile when I heard his morning voice, and took a look at the clock to check the time. "7 AM. Time to get up for breakfast." "Oh hell no. I'm going back to sleep. You go and have breakfast at this ridiculous time." he rolled off of me and closed his eyes again, causing me to laugh. I got up and walked to the window to pull the curtains to the side. "Look! The sun's already up!" I said to him. "Oh god please get that light out of my face.." I laughed again, and walked towards him and pulled him towards me. "You're not exactly a morning person, are you?" I asked him. "No I'm not, so if you could just stay quiet for like, 4 more hours, that'd be great."

I picked him up and threw him over my shoulder, and walked towards the bathroom. "Loki! Put. Me. Down. Now." Kayden said, while repeatedly slamming his fist on my back. I laughed and let him go once we reached the shower. "Take a shower, maybe that will wake you up."

Kayden gave me a smirk. "Only if you'll join me." He tried to sound confident, but his cheeks turned red, which gave him away. I hesitated for a moment, caught off guard by his sudden flirting, but decided I'd play along. "Alright, deal." I turned on the shower, and stepped in after I took my shorts off. "What's wrong? Getting nervous?" I asked Kayden, who just stood there looking at me. "Not at all." He regained his confidence, and got undressed. Now it was my turn to be surprised. He joined me, and looked straight into my eyes. We were both trying not to look at each other's body, but after a while the silence started to become a bit awkward.

"Could you hand me the shampoo?" Kayden suddenly asked. I looked at him, and we both started laughing. "Well so much for this dare." He said. We both got out of the shower again, and even though Kayden managed to keep his eyes off me, I couldn't do the same.

*Kayden's POV*

"Loki, you're staring." I said. Even though I didn't even look at him, I could feel that he was looking at me. "Just admiring the view. I'm sorry." We both finished getting ready, and Loki started to walk to the door that lead to the corridor. "Hey! Where do you think you're going?" He turned around, and before he realised it, I wrapped my hands around him and kissed him. When I pulled back, he gave me a confused look. "You forgot to give me a good morning kiss." I said, while walking past him.

A few seconds later, Loki caught up with me and took my hand. "People will start asking questions, you know?" I said. "I'm sure they will, but why should we care?" Loki smiled at me, and as soon as we got to the main hall, we could hear the whispers of all the others that lived at the palace. We simply kept walking and sat down to have breakfast.

'Let them talk. Just ignore them Kayden.' I thought to myself. After all, Loki was right. Why should we care?

(A/N) Heyhey. I know this chapter is a bit shorter than the last few, but it's a bit of a filler because I got an important chapter coming up that'll take a bit longer to write. So no tears, you'll love me again once I've published the next chapter :)
