The only thing Lauren hates about school is the people. Don't get her wrong she's a nice girl, the nicest in the school but that's what makes her a target well that and she's the only one who enjoys learning. Although she has only one friend, her name is Ally she's quite content with that. She doesn't feel the need to be friends with people who are bullies.
With that in mind Lauren sighs heavily as the school doors come into her line of vision. Ally had to go to school early for a tutoring lesson so Lauren didn't need to pick her up and actually came to school a couple minutes early versus an hour early (Ally always loves being early)
As soon as she walks through the doors she's met with multiple glares. Hailee, Dinah and although Camila's looks forced it's still there so Lauren puts her head down avoiding eye contact.
"Hey loser! Where's your only friend?" Dinah yells mockingly as her, Camila and Hailee walk up to a frightened Lauren who visibly tenses
"She had to tutor someone.." Lauren mutters still keeping her head down
"Sure, she probably just got tired of hanging out with your nerdy ass" Hailee sneers and Dinach chuckles while Camila forces a chuckle when she sees Lauren lift her head only to see hurt in her eyes and she stops
Lauren just bites her lip nervously and says "Probably..." Then walks away leaving them dumbfounded
"What the hell? She usually defends herself a little at least" Dinah mumbles confused as Hailee nods her head in agreement while Camila is watching Lauren walk away with a slight frown on her face
"Feeling bad for Loser Jauregui Mila?" Hailee chuckles and Dinah studies Camila
Camila snaps her head toward them and glares "No, I've fucked every girl in this school except her for a reason" she spat feeling bad instantly but she can't let them know that
The bell rings and Hailee, Dinah and Camila head to their separate classes.
Camila is silently brooding on he way to class. She's been in love with Lauren since freshman year when they ran into each other in the hallway. Camila is the school's fuckgirl so nobody would believe she loves Lauren but she does...big time. Although, she's terrified to admit it. Lauren isn't the most popular and Camila is. Basically it's pretty much the plot line of about 20 movies.
-In Class
"Alright, quiet down" Mr.Depp says to the rowdy class "I have a project for you guys" the class groans but Lauren perks up
Camila sees this and smiles 'she looks like a puppy' she thinks
"I know, I know you guys hate schoolwork blah blah anyways in this project you have to take pictures of stars or anything else in space that intrigues you and then explain why you chose those pictures"
Lauren beams she loves everything to do with space. While Camila groans she doesn't know anything about space
"I am going to pick your partners so don't move" he then goes on to list names
"Lauren your partners with Camila" he gives her an apologetic look he knows their relationship but he wants to try to improve it and maybe this will be the way
Camila chokes on air she can't believe she's gonna be partners with the girl she's secretly in love with
"The project is due in one week get on it!" Mr.Depp says sternly
Camila walks up to Lauren and sits in the desk next to her she coughs awkwardly and says
"So, I guess we're partners.."
