Her, camila and Lauren were watching a movie but as usual camila and Lauren started arguing and camila ended up leaving to go hang out with Dinah instead
"Because she's infuriating Ari" Lauren whines "I've never gotten along with her" she adds
"THATS BECAUSE NEITHER OF YOU TRY AND IM GETTING SICK OF IT" Ariana yells frustrated. She really wants them to get along already it's starting to piss her off
"Okay okay calm down damn no need to get your granny panties in a bunch" Ariana goes to interrupt but Lauren beats her "and don't even try to deny you aren't wearing granny panties I know it's laundry day bitch. Anyways, I'll TRY okay ? But I'm not promising that we're gonna be best friends and start making bracelets for each other singing kumbaya"
Ariana squeals and hugs Lauren tight "thank you so much babes I promise she'll try too. I appreciate you"

"So, Ariana ditched us on purpose right?" Camila says knowingly while pouring the popcorn into a bowl then walking into the living room where Lauren is already sitting on the couch setting up Netflix
Lauren sighs and nods "yup, you know how sneaky that little shit can be. She's very determined to make us friends"
Camila sits next to her keeping some distance by putting the bowl between them "yeah I remember one time when we used to work at target our boss had a call out for the apparel department and asked if her or I would be more suitable for it. So, she came up to me and was all 'hey babe, our boss wants you in apparel' and she made it seem like I had no choice so I went up to our boss and asked what I had to do for apparel and he looked at me weird and was all 'oh, I thought Ariana would rather do it since I asked her too but okay' and I got stuck there all night and I didn't know what the fuck I was doing" (I did this to my coworker last month lmao)
Lauren started busting up laughing making camila laugh too cause Laurens laugh is so contagious
When Lauren finally stopped laughing her face was still red and she asked "how did you not know what you were doing?? It's just clothes"
Camila abruptly stopped laughing and looked at Lauren sternly "ITS A BIG DEPARTMENT LAUREN AND ALL THE STUFF WAS IN THE WRONG PLACE OKAY"
Lauren puts her hands up on defense "alright alright I'm sorry. I put on the new season of Stranger Things though and I haven't seen it yet so be prepared to shut up cause I don't want any interruptions while I watch my children"
"I haven't watched it either so don't worry my lips are ar ar ar" camila says while hitting her wrists together. Noticing Laurens confused face she explains "I'm a seal, get it? My lips are sealed"
Lauren just chuckles and mumbles "so cute" and before camila can question it they hear the intro for the show starting

"I CANT BELIEVE THEY JUST ENDED IT LIKE THAT" camila yells throwing the empty bowl at the tv
"DAMN IT CAMZ I JUST BOUGHT THAT TV" Lauren yells checking the tv for any scratches but once she notices it's fine she turns to camila and says "BUT NANCY IS SO HOT THOUGH, DID YOU SEE HOW GOOD SHE LOOKED SHOOTING THAT GUN???" Lauren puts a hand to her forehead and pretends to faint then suddenly shoots up "although I'm totally opposed to a teenager having a gun, we need stricter gun laws-"
"Okay okay, stop cause I know you're gonna go on a rant Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez" camila interrupts (Alexandria could like get it though) she was gonna continue until her phone went off and saw Ariana was FaceTiming her

"Hey baby, how's your hangout going? I'm sorry I got called in" ariana says while avoiding eye contact which both Lauren and camila both know is her tell when she's lying
Lauren rolls her eyes and stands next to camila accidentally brushing their arms together and it sends a shock through both of them which catches them both off guard and they end up staring at each other intensely until Ariana clears her throat
"Sure Grande sure" Lauren says annoyed "we have the same boss you know anyways me and camz didn't kill each other and it turns out she's tolerable" Lauren says with a shrug making camila smack her shoulder with a giggle
Ariana raises an eyebrow at their interaction making camila respond "yeah turns out Lauren and I have a lot in common"
Ariana hums in acknowledgement suddenly jealous of how camila keeps looking over to where Lauren is and smiling
"Welll babe I gotta go I'll talk to you guys later. See you at home" she rushes out, blows a kiss and then hangs up leaving camila confused and frowning
Lauren walks up to her and squishes her face so her cheeks puff out making camila look at her like a fish and Lauren giggles
"What's wrong chipmunk?" Lauren says in her baby voice making camila get butterflies which she totally passes off as light gas 'I knew I shouldn't have had a burrito for lunch today'
Camila nods and takes Laurens hands off her face so she can answer "yeah Ariana just was being a little weird. Let me see your phone though so I can get your number and we can have more friend dates" camila says holding her hand out
Lauren raises an eyebrow but hands her phone over "you trying to get at me cabello? You're cute and all but you're dating my best friend" she jokes with a wink
Although camila knows it's a joke it still makes her blush and Lauren thinks she looks so damn cute but banished that thought immediately
Camila puts her number in and says "whatever Jauregui, I gotta go but text me tomorrow so we can set up something"
Lauren nods and starts walking behind camila to her door while trying not to stare at her ass. They open the door and camila stands a little outside while Lauren is leaning against the doorway
"well camz, I actually had fun with you and who knew we were both obsessed with stranger things that gives you major points" Lauren says with a look in her eye that camila can't distinguish but she doesn't mind cause it gives her an excuse to look in Laurens eyes....they're so pretty
Camila smiles brightly "I should thank ari cause today was pretty fun with you" she has a sudden urge to touch Lauren so she leans forward and wraps Lauren in a hug taking her by surprise but camila sighs in relief when she hugs her back
Lauren squeezes her once and pulls back once she notices she as a dopey smile on her face she clears her throat and says softly "see you later camz" then goes back inside and closing the door leaving camila standing there with a soft smile
"See ya laur" she whispers and walks away trying to figure out why her heart is beating so fast and why she feels so light
Lauren on the other hand has her back against the door and smiles even bigger when she hears camila then
"Fuck fuck fuck fuck I'm fucked" Lauren exclaims
