Game on Chapter 9

Ace’s POV

I woke up Friday morning and saw that Michael was still fast asleep. He was such a sweetie after we kissed last night he cheered me up and held me all night long. He was really nice and my new type. I’d never dated a Moroi guy before but now I was starting. I already missed Vick but we needed a timeout from our friendship and it was starting today. I changed into a red V-neck T-shirt and some black jeans. I took a quick shower then pulled my hair back into a loose bun and put on a black knit sweater. I went back into the bedroom and tucked myself back into Michael’s arms. “Morning”, he said kissing me on the cheek.

“Morning”, I yawned.

“How long have you been awake now?” he asked rolling me over. He was quick to notice my wet hair.

“About half an hour now”, I said honestly.

“Did I snore last night?” he asked curiously. He had snored and I had no reason to lie to him so I nodded.

“For the first two hours”, I said.

“Sorry about that how did you sleep after that?” he asked wrapping his arms around me. I had slept well surprisingly well for a night where I fought with Vick.

“I slept very well and you?” I said asked wrapping my arms around his neck.

“I had my arms around a beautiful girl best sleep ever”, he said kissing me. I kissed him back and we deepen the kiss together. My hands got messed up in his hair and his arms pulled me closer to him. His tongue slid along my lips and I opened them letting his tongue explore my mouth before meeting my tongue. We just finished kissing when I heard a knock on my door. I tossed him a large blue hoodie and he laughed a little.

“Yes”, I said answering it.

“Hey Ace how are you doing?” Julie asked concerned.

“I’m alright”, I said hearing Michael trip over my shoes.

“Are you sure because Vick said you quit and ran away from the school?” she asked confused, “you look almost cheerful what happened last night?”

“She switched assignments”, Michael said joining me at the door, “you must be Julie”.

“Hello who are you?” Julie said looking at me.

“This is Michael Zeklos he’s my new burden”, I said with a sigh. He made a face and I rolled my eyes.

“Hello there well Ace you should really talk to Vick he was pretty freaked this morning I’ve never seen him that worried”, she said seriously.

“You’re Ace”, he said faking shock, “can I have your autograph?”

“Shut up”, I said nudging him playfully, “Jules I’ll talk to him when he’s willing to be reasonable”. She nodded then hurried off to go wake up Jason. Michael wrapped his arm around me and we went to his room. He gave me a quick kiss then went and took a shower before getting dressed. I waited outside the door examining my nails wishing I could get them fixed up.

“Grace”, a familiar voice said and I went inside the room and closed the door. “Grace I’m sorry okay I know I was an idiot please don’t be mad at me forever”, he said knocking on the door.

“You didn’t even try talking about it rationally you just snapped at me like everything was my fault”, I snapped.

“I know I just I don’t know I messed up again and I treated you like crap I know I messed up big time but is there any way you could ever forgive me?” he begged.
