Chapter 11

Jess's p.o.v
"Okay make sure you're laying down a lot and drinking plenty of fluids, for the next couple of days make sure not to do anything that may cause your head to move around to much." The  Doctor said to my mother and I. "Alright sweetie ready to go?" She asked. "Yep let's go" I said. We walked to the car and went home.

My mom was going to work in the home office so she gave me a dose of my medicine and told me to go rest and call her if I needed her. "thanks mom love you" I said slowly. I walked in my room and went straight to my bed.

I turned on my t.v and fell asleep watching. I'm guessing a couple hours later my mom had woken me up so she could give me some medicine along with some soup. I ate my soup and went on my phone.

Maggie asked if she could surprise me with something after school and asked me to meet her at the park right beside my house like literally right beside my house. My mom said it would be good to get some fresh air but said hat after about an hour or so my Maggie and I should hang out at my house.

So I basically finished sleeping until I woke up to he would of my phone ringing. I picked it up and said Hello. It was Maggie. "Hey I'm at he park still up to coming?" She asked. "Yes of course be there in 10 let me just change" I said and hung up the phone.

I picked out some simple black leggings along with a over sized pink sweater. Put my pin straight hair down and just brushed it.

Put on some perfume grabbed my phone. And walked downstairs. "Hey mom I'll just be at the park we'll be back in an hour or so" I said to her. "Okay if you feel dizzy please call me and come home right away if you're feeling sick" she said smiling. "Okay mom will do see you soon" I said slipping on some converse.

I spotted Maggie and walked over to her. She hugged me and said "glad you're back J" she said. "Okay what's this big surprise" I said while sitting on a swing. "Okay now I know I said we would stay in the park but we're going a bit further not to far just to the creek so please come" she said.

"Okay okay" I said. So we got up and started walking. "So do you think you'll end up dating anyone" she said nudging me. "Okay well I have to tell you this its been on my mind for a while, I knew you and Brandon would date at one point or another but as of right now I don't really wanna date anyone at the moment because I do not need a boyfriend right at this point in time I don't know may it'll change but yea as of right now no boyfriends for me" I said. "Well that's a very good answer" Maggie said.

We shortly ended up at a creek. "Ahh I love it here" I said taking deep breathe in. I took out my phone and started to take pictures. "Okay Jess we've been standing here for like 5 minutes can we go" Maggie said. "Oh right yea sorry" I said laughing.

We then walked down to the creek and I had sat down on one of the rocks and had went on my phone. I checked snapchat and watched everyone's snapchat stories slot of them said "get better Jess" it's like I broke my leg. "Okay what's this surprise?" I asked Maggie.

"Okay well as you know or I hope you know since Brandon's birthday is September 4 and it's the end of August, he was literally asking me everyday if I could go to Arizona and see him and well since my birthdays coming up my parents are letting me go as an early birthday gift and they bought an extra plane ticket and I wanted to know if you wanted to come" she asked.

"Are you actually going on a plane for a boy you just met like 4 days ago and your parents are letting you do this" I said. "Well I told them I wanted to take a trip there and then maybe meet up with an old friend" she said "ohhhhh so you didn't tell them the whole truth, well I mean I'll come parents permitting, when do you leave" I asked "YAYAYAY IM SO HAPPY" she screeched

. "We leave on Friday. "Okay but you cannot tell Hunter it Brandon I'm coming I want it to be a surprise for I do come" i said. "Alright deal" she said.  "Okay I'll call you tonight and let you know although my mom will think this is crazy WHICH it is I know you won't stop bugging me until I do" I said.

"Okay I'll see you tomorrow" she said as we parted our own way home. I walked in my door and took off my shoes. "Hey mom can we talk for a minute" I said sitting across from her.

"Sure sweetie what's up" she said. "I know this is going to abound really crazy but Mags invited me to come with her to Arizona with her & her family and I would really love to go so can I" I pleaded. "Absolutely  not Jess I'm not letting my 14 year old daughter go on a trip alone with me" she said

. "Okay I agree you with you, but what if we made it just a girls week which mean you ca come too come on mom we haven't been on a trip together since last summer it'll be fun" I said almost begging.

P "Well your dad is away on business right now so why not, but don't think this will occur often" she said. "Yay thanks mom I love you" I said hugging her. I told her the seat they picked so she could get the one beside us. "Okay sweetie go lay down for a bit and I'll be up soon to give you your medicine" she said giving me a hug. I went to sleep after my mom gave me my medicine ready for a day of school tomorrow and ready for Maggie to be screaming.
